Christmas Creep on the macro level is about corporate greed and on the micro level is about a desperate need for joy, however artificial, in an endlessly awful year.

And to add to this, having an emotional reaction to an issue does not negate your point.
People should care about the words they are saying, and if they are arguing, it’s not wrong to have an emotional investment in the argument. Especially when you are speaking on issues of morals and ethics.
It should be studied the way I forget that medicine works until I finally take it. I took a pain killer for my sore throat an hour ago after an entire night spent awake because it hurt so bad…now everything is gravy!

We’ve lost the art of the un-classically handsome leading man. The men that in isolation were…fine…but when they opened their mouths were so funny and charming, they would go on to star in 3 rom coms with Meg Ryan. The youth can no longer imagine a non-stunning sexy-man.
My chess fun fact is that the earliest version of the ‘queen’ was a vizier, and it could only move one square at a time just like the king piece today.

One of my favorite thing about the rise of blog style social media has got to be people documenting their learning journeys. From reading to home repair to crafts to professional degrees, I think it’s one of the best parts of influencer culture. Nobody should feel ashamed to learn.
