Would love to see this on Saturday. Realistically it will be Madueke and Mosquera on the right side though. Hopefully we see Eze at left wing for the rest of the season.

I think it’s worth saying once more, you can be as positive or as down as you want. Other people can tell you to think differently but ultimately they can’t dictate how you feel about it all. The only important thing is don’t be a dickhead about it.

At the end of the day, a lot of the blame has to go to the manager. Someone needs to dig up how many times we saw a front 3 of Madueke, Gyokeres and Martinelli. The fact it was more than once is shambolic.

This team has been utterly pathetic when it came to crunch time. The performance wasn’t even that bad today but the damage was already done. I think that’s the title gone now, can’t see City slipping up from here.

Great we reached the semis and all that, and I do hate to be *that* guy but I haven’t seen anything tonight that made me think we’re not getting rolled over on Sunday.

I share your concerns. That’s why this week is so worrying. Realistically it’s going to take more than a win vs Sporting to put us in a place where we can beat City at The Etihad on Sunday.

Just need to see some semblance of cohesive football. I think it will do the wonder of good for us.

I get what you mean but I think some of those “if fit” players probably need minutes in them before City. If JT and Saka can get some minutes rather than going in cold that could be beneficial. I do think psychologically we do need to play well Wednesday in order to have a chance vs City.

Some may argue that the players are scared to make mistakes because the crowd will groan but not sure that’s the case. The crowd groan when we turn round and play the conservative option. If we start looking forward and taking risks I think the crowd will respond well, even if it doesn’t come off.

I think there’s a lot to be made out of just playing some nice football to begin with in this game.

The team are way too affected by the crowd and the crowd are (rightly) anxious at the moment. I think playing a bit of attacking football will settle everyone even if it doesn’t come off.

In the first 10 mins there were a couple of throw ins that could’ve been taken quickly to a player in space and both times the ball was given to the full back and we waited until everyone got back in position and there was nobody to throw it to. It’s fucking ridiculous
