I'm done flooding your TL. I hope you're as well as you can be, which is a TASK all by itself these days.

Make sure to pay attention to DC Solicits next month! And no, it's not for the thing you're assuming, that's on the way though 🤭.

Okay bye!

I had the pleasure of attending ALYAC at the Ashland Public Library in Ashland, MA, last weekend. The event was so creatively energizing! I taught kids and their parents how to craft a complete comic story on a single page, which was an immensely rewarding experience.

2 panels from Warriors and a Wee Wonder. Io and Nubia stand next to wall Io built.
Alone in the first panel Io says "I..I literally built a wall rather than talk about feeling."

In the next Panel Nubia reassures her saying "we all hide sometimes. The brave thing is choosing to come out"

That last line might be particularly relevant to me.

A new character to Warriors and a Wee Wonder. A genie freed by Diana's wish to allow her to choose.

She says "this is... belonging. But, I chose it, so it's real."

The same character talking to Circe.
"I'd love to. Independence isn't something you have. It's something you build, bit by bit."

I think my therapist would approve of todays Warriors and a Wee Wonder.
Honestly I need these kind of reminders, especially that line from Nubia in the first image. Thanks for that one @stephwilliams.bsky.social

My copies of Wonder Woman #29 and #30 by Stephanie Williams, Jeffrey Spokes and Clayton Cowles.

My copies of Wonder Woman #29 and #30 by Stephanie Williams, Jeffrey Spokes and Clayton Cowles.

This 2 issue story "The Village" by @stephwilliams.bsky.social and Jeffrey Spokes is the kind of story the amazons were created to tell. The art is gorgeous and the message of community helping us overcome our doubts and strife is particularly relevant these days. Absolutely phenomenal. #comicsky

THIS WEEK!

In addition to @stephwilliams.bsky.social's cracking script, look at @charliekirchoff.com's colors. LOOK AT THEM.

Honestly, I've never worked this closely with a colorist before. Charlie sent me a bunch of swatches to overlay over my balloons and SFX.

Comic book cover for *Star Trek: Deviations — Threads of Destiny* (February 2026). A bold, retro-styled illustration centers on Nyota Uhura depicted twice: in the foreground, a large close-up of her face with eyes closed and a serene expression; behind her, a full-body image of Uhura standing confidently in a mustard-gold, long-sleeved 1960s-style dress with a black belt and knee-high black boots, one hand raised thoughtfully near her chin. A massive antique clock face with Roman numerals fills the background, symbolizing time. The starship Enterprise streaks diagonally across the composition from upper left to lower right, trailing bright light beams that cut across Uhura’s face, suggesting alternate timelines. The background features vibrant, swirling bands of orange, pink, yellow, and teal in a psychedelic, pop-art style. The title “Star Trek Deviations: Threads of Destiny” appears boldly across the top. Credits at the bottom list writer Stephanie Williams; artist Gregory Maldonado; inker Anthony Fowler Jr.; colors by Charlie Kirchoff; letters by Jodie Troutman; and design and production by Neil Uyetake. The Star Trek 60th anniversary logo appears in the lower right corner.

I had to wait two long days for the chance to read the latest Star Trek Deviations: Threads of Destiny featuring my favorite (and the best) Star Trek character, Nyota Uhura, and it did not disappoint! @stephwilliams.bsky.social took us on a journey! I highly recommend it. #StarTrek #TrekSky

Amazing…The angle of the story can actually be juxtaposed in the situation we in right now. The biggest theme I took from it…..SURVIVAL not if you survive, but how you survive.

They got Spock in a funny hat! I need to grab my copy still, but so stoked for @stephwilliams.bsky.social, who I had the pleasure of doing a panel with @hannibaltabu.bsky.social years ago.

I really had fun making those mockup Compact covers. There are so many titles they could just put in that format, but for some reason, they've been picking the usual suspects and not diversify the titles.

And I agree. @stephwilliams.bsky.social would CRUSH IT on a Vixen book.

This week I’m stoked to have a review on Comic News Insider for Star Trek: Deviations - Threads of Destiny #1 by @stephwilliams.bsky.social, Gregory Maldonado, @afowlerart.com, @charliekirchoff.com & @longtalljodie.com.

It’s an outstanding “What If…?” story that gets to the heart of the Franchise.
