Scottish Labour's manifesto pledges to segregate Trans+ people in NHS wards, schools, sport, prisons and "everyday life", by “upholding the Equality Act” with a pledge to "remove all biologically male [sic] prisoners from women’s prisons within days of the election."

The party that once supported moves to de-medicalise legal gender recognition has now pivoted to pledging Trans+ exclusion

Sandyford informed us on Friday that they intend to start a ‘waiting list validation’ from today. This means that they will be contacting everyone on the adult waiting list to check their details are correct and that they wish to remain on the list. They have already done this exercise for the young person’s waiting list.

It is extremely important that if your contact details have changed since joining the list that you contact Sandyford to update them. People will be contacted in stages, so you might not be contacted straight away. If your contact details are correct, you do not have to do anything until Sandyford contacts you.

Once you are contacted, you need to respond within 14 days. You will be sent a short questionnaire to fill in. Sandyford have said that reminders to respond will be sent. We are trying to get information from Sandyford about what will happen if someone does not respond. If you have not heard from Sandyford by 1st June, please get in touch with them.

Sarwar could be in front of a TV camera any time he likes today an say “if becoming FM relies on Reform votes, I will not put myself forward for FM” and put an end to it all. I don’t think he will.

Remember this when you see Labour's faux outrage about their grubby deal with Reform coming out ⬇️

They are not honest, they do not stand against bigotry and extremism, and they will clearly sell anyone out for power.

Labour doth protest too much about this evening's revelation of Sarwar sidling up to Offord. It's believable because they have clearly been briefing that they planned to do exactly that.

Confirmed: Labour and Reform are in cahoots.

Labour already told us they'd sell the LGBTQIA+ community out to bigots and extremists, now we know they'd sell all of Scotland out too.

Lock them both out on May 7.

Labour won’t implement a conversion practices ban in Scotland. Labour’s Health Secretary Wes Streeting has expressed sympathy for a group that supports conversion practices. Labour’s Home Office reforms threaten to send LGBTQIA+ refugees to countries where they could be killed. Labour can’t get into power in Scotland without a deal with Reform.

Voter registration for the Scottish Election closes in ONE WEEK (20th April)! Its really important that trans voices are heard. Sometimes trans & non-binary people experience problems when registering to vote, so make sure you do so soon.

The SNP must recognise that it is only by standing up for all Scots that it can make the case for the better nation we all dream of - a fairer, safer country that looks to the future and has no second-class citizens.

Finally, we've made plenty of progress in our efforts to end HIV transmission in Scotland by 2030, and we can't slow down now - instead, we should speed up by funding a National HIV Testing Week campaign and investigating a national at-home testing service.

We must protect women's rights from people like Nigel Farage - by getting the 1960s laws criminalising abortion off the books before it's too late, and passing a full bill to fight misogynistic harassment, replacing our flawed measures that can't even name the problem.

We're done waiting for Labour to stop blocking a UK-wide conversion practices ban.

Scotland's ban must be trans-inclusive; cover all settings (domestic, religious, ‘therapeutic’); cover expression; not provide a ‘consent’ loophole; and include suppression as well as change.

We should also end the policy of trying to base access to toilets in the Scottish Parliament on sex assigned at birth. This has only served as a symbol of exclusion and a distraction from investigating real allegations of predatory behaviour.

We need to shore up trans people's rights - by finally enacting our policy to drop the requirement for a formal diagnosis of gender dysphoria to access gender-affirming healthcare, and by protecting trans children's rights to use the correct school toilets.

At the start of this campaign, we asked SNP candidates to sign a pledge to stand up to culture war politics. We're thrilled to be able to say that the First Minister and, so far, 58 other candidates (now including @jeremiesnp.bsky.social) have done so. But this must be followed by action after May.
