Who the COO absolutely despises because he is trans. So what the COO ends up doing, he forces the regional manager to implement a one and final write up; then demoted my co worker in one go. Then it was made known that I am next because I am “too passionate” for my job.
Mind you, upper management is full of people who are 40 and older. No one on MANAGEMENT except for two asst managers are younger than 30. On top of that, if we have a problematic worker. They drag it out with 3 write ups but the last straw, was my friend who is apart of the younger asst group.
Last month, they announced a new manager for our store. Instead of giving it to the asst manager who has been there for a year and they gave it to some random who didn’t have the slightest qualifications. Then proceeded to tell this person who didn’t get the job why..because she was immature
“Why do you care if upper management doesn’t like you?” We apparently we should because upper management proved that they can and will find loopholes holes to prevent you from progressing or try to fire you. We have an asst manager who has been here for a year; managed two stores for half a year…
A employee handbook with company policy. There is a clear distinction that upper management does not like their employees in certain stores (all of them) and instead of clearly communicating their goals & expectations. The COO is going out of his ways to ensure we fail. It’s fucking insane..
