Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.

How do we flip the damn script?! How do we elevate POLICY we know resonates with the people? Let’s figure this out NOW.

No more fire drills. No more short term thinking like “We have to get ready for the midterms!” NO! We need to plan for the LONG term and get our country BACK!

Media is owned by the uber wealthy — they are comfortable. Harris talked about her intent to make wealthy corporations pay their fair share. Enter — Haitians eating family pets, prisons paying for gender affirming surgery, and FEMA withholding relief from Helene victims to give to immigrants.

Then I called my aunt in Evanston to wish her a Happy Birthday. She’s a very strong Dem. We talked about the election and ultimately went down that same road — the right-wing media, misinformation and the oligarchs. My take is this:

I woke up to a FB message from a friend I met during my congressional run. She sent me an article I’ll attach below. We pinged back and forth for a minute talking about right-wing media and its misinformation going unchecked ultimately leading to our defeat (among a few other things).

And we LOVE this about you, sir!
