so many people just dont want to put any effort in whatsoever to actually learn a game, they try the controls for not even long enough to understand how they work and then give up to go moan about them. no attention span whatsoever

tbh i prefer the living end to the completely empty and contentless end of vanilla, so i still enjoy a lot of those mods as long as theyre well made and fun (which most are), but still i think there could be a more interesting and thematically cohesive approach

the end shouldnt be empty like it is now, but it should still be dead and desolate, not teeming with life like the overworld or nether. xen was clearly the inspiration for both the dimension and end crystals, so lean even further into that and draw more xen inspiration for new biomes and content

i think a lot of end update mods for minecraft miss the mark entirely on what id personally enjoy in the end. theres actually a very ironic parallel, a lot of minecraft end mods remind me a little of black mesa's xen chapters, when what i think would fit more thematically is half-life's iteration

I'm sure I'm not the first to say this but they need to stop remaking classic films. We don't need a million reboots, we need to be remaking movies that had great ideas but were executed poorly. Actually give them a chance to realize their potential. Leave the classics alone. Make new classics.
