Today in 1991, Yorkshire Television infamously cut away from #SheffieldWednesday’s celebrations, when other ITV regions stayed at #Wembley.

Instead choosing to show a 1986 recording of ‘War of the Monster Trucks,’ leaving thousands of fans fuming at home.

Trump deals double blow to the great British pint The Iran war is putting pressure on carbon dioxide supplies needed to make beer after last year’s U.K.-U.S. trade deal was blamed for undercutting British plants producing the gas.

As the world frets over the prospect of another energy shock, Brits have zeroed in on a more niche concern: the fate of the great British pint.

It’s a crisis with Donald Trump’s fingerprints all over it.

A SCOBY with white/green, fuzzy patches of mold on the surface

A SCOBY with white/green, fuzzy patches of mold on the surface

Are there any kombucha brewers on here?

Green/white fuzzy patches of mould have grown on the surface of my third generation SCOBY. This has happened twice now and I'm not sure where I'm going wrong.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Corn dryers, kilns and craftsmanship: uncovering Roman industry on the Suffolk coast Oxford Cotswold Archaeology (OCA) archaeologists have been busy excavating and recording the Suffolk coastline as part of the works for the Sizewell C nuclear power station.

Latest news from the Sizewell C archaeological dig. More evidence of Roman activity now appearing on the site which has been scarce up to know. Even a mention of possible malting in the report.

When Hawkshead Brewery shed most of its team and closed its tap room, I thought beer in Cumbria would suffer. I needn't have worried.

My latest story for @pelliclemag.com is about the breweries and all the people and pubs that make up this county.

Love the distillery description - somewhere I’d love to see - sounds properly industrial.
The Nessie I can’t work out the process there. At first I thought it was Nestle - making Milo!
