Today in 1991, Yorkshire Television infamously cut away from #SheffieldWednesday’s celebrations, when other ITV regions stayed at #Wembley.
Instead choosing to show a 1986 recording of ‘War of the Monster Trucks,’ leaving thousands of fans fuming at home.

Great story - and a timely one, too, considering my thing in the i-Paper at the weekend... inews.co.uk/inews-lifest...

As the world frets over the prospect of another energy shock, Brits have zeroed in on a more niche concern: the fate of the great British pint.
It’s a crisis with Donald Trump’s fingerprints all over it.

A SCOBY with white/green, fuzzy patches of mold on the surface
Are there any kombucha brewers on here?
Green/white fuzzy patches of mould have grown on the surface of my third generation SCOBY. This has happened twice now and I'm not sure where I'm going wrong.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Time to meet another of Team Abbeydale! This week we've had a sit down with our fun and friendly driver and Co-Owner Jono - Derbyshire dweller, accomplished musician and the member of the team most likely to end his delivery run with a kebab. www.abbeydalebrewery.co.uk/meet-the-tea...
Remembering the 97 🌹
I loved the Cannon & Ball film Boys in Blue. Vividly remember renting it from Mista Video.
Hey everyone we're back for a KILLER episode!
Join me as I visit the brewery that made the 2025 Champion Beer of Britain. We explore this wonderful brew pub at the furthest reaches of Cornwall & brew an Opus-hopped English IPA with them, which we launch at the Sutton Arms.

Three Floyds at #25? Wow, I did not realize.
Latest news from the Sizewell C archaeological dig. More evidence of Roman activity now appearing on the site which has been scarce up to know. Even a mention of possible malting in the report.

I recognise the tiny American bar - love the art deco feel in there.
When Hawkshead Brewery shed most of its team and closed its tap room, I thought beer in Cumbria would suffer. I needn't have worried.
My latest story for @pelliclemag.com is about the breweries and all the people and pubs that make up this county.

And I wonder how similar this wort separation system is to Horlicks's: www.ziemann-holvrieka.com/en/beer/warm...
Love the distillery description - somewhere I’d love to see - sounds properly industrial.
The Nessie I can’t work out the process there. At first I thought it was Nestle - making Milo!
