Here we are, 6 characters that influenced my original content. Some of these are obvious, others maybe not so much. But it’s how tightly knit this group was that inspires me the most.

My favorite thing about Rival Turf is that it let both players choose the same character in 2 player games. Oozie Nelson is easy mode. Jack Flak is hard mode. Both modes won’t do you wrong.

Of the four games shown here, Nobunaga’s Ambition (SNES) is the least complex. So if you’re completely new to this type of strategy game, you should start there.
