There’s a striking similarity between Jim and the pic of Jervis in the third ed rulebook which might underscore the dark elf link (wasn’t Jervis a DE coach?) but I also think that Jim’s forehead looks to have a bat shaped wrinkles!
Third edition is the first time I can find an image of Jim and Bob. They feature from 1st ed but I can’t think of any earlier fluff that describes them. Though now I want to check…
After almost two years of being half painted my #BloodBowl Dwarf team is finally done. Not much deviation from the box art but I’m pleased with how they came out.

It’s been a great day for #BloodBowl. A fun tournament in Lancaster (gnomes went 1/1/1) followed by an evening
painting this gnarly looking Minotaur for the my league team.
To my thinking it’s multiple things/places at once, with many different and shifting layers. Always in flux.
That was my thought too. Makes sense of what they find too.
