Faith and I were bicycling the last few miles of the NOLA Social Ride along the Algiers levee when she stopped at a marker she’d noticed on the front half of the ride: the memorial for the two sisters and the boyfriend of the older sister in a tragic drowning accident back in 2022.

About last night: Faith made #chickenspaghetti which I’d never heard of and it appears to be a Southern thing? (Why would the Internet lie!)

If you know the movie, and ESPECIALLY if you know the song, we can be friends.

The 1970s energy crisis had many unusual side-effects, including the ARCO oil company hiring Charlie's Angels' Cheryl Ladd to encourage people to leave their cars at home and ride bikes.

Wishing peace tonight to all the families grieving over the loss of life from the Texas flood, especially after hearing it hit close to our friends circle. So tragic.

3/3 But it's also instructive in how to engage people on how bicycling is and can be a part of our culture. This would make for a helluva screening SERIES.

2/3 It's a crazy good but also just crazy movie, mostly wordless but saying so much on this, the eve of the Tour de France. I SWEAR I had a similar idea a few months ago so I'm glad to see great minds think alike! LOL.

1/3 One of my favorite aspects of communications and outreach is embracing culture but also popular culture. That's why I was thrilled that Bike Easy partnered with the Broadside to screen “The Triplets of Belleville” – one of my favorite animation moves AND one involving bikes.

Always great to see family out in Madisonville (well, “suburban” Madisonville) and always great getting an updated “Faith, Hope and Charity” photo. Major thanks to Stephen Blanc Jr. and Taura Narcisse Blanc for hosting!

Letters: Let’s acknowledge all the leaders who made the Lafitte Greenway a success I was really excited to read the article marking the 10th anniversary of the Lafitte Greenway. The Lafitte Greenway is not only one of the 10 best things to happen

My thoughts on the 10th anniversary of the landmark #NewOrleans public space project the #LafitteGreenway and why bold leadership is needed when it comes to advancing #walkability. The Greenway is a key connector between the #FrenchQuarter & #Lakefront. Hopefully the #greenway will be completed.

Hey ABC, stop showing the replay of Tyrese Halliburton’s injury — especially after Mike Breen literally said “That is brutal to watch” the previous/umpteenth time.

Spanish Flamenco thrives in New Mexico, with its own unique flavor A lot of folks know New Mexico for green chiles, the largest hot air balloon festival in the world, and the birthplace of the bomb. But it's also a global center of flamenco—the passionate dance, song and music of the Roma people of southern Spain.
