Not saying it’s a tough decade but the provisional 50’s currently followed by 63 potential HMs…

It’s such a difficult watch now, and no blame on Myrie. The weird wording of questions to try and ensure everyone gets the same number of them just kills the rhythm of it for me.

One of the greatest Who book covers. Absolute banger.
Which choice could possibly cause the reaction in that photo? And which of those books could possibly go on which lists?
All will be revealed…
That’s the one - everyone weirdly overplaying when it needs the exact opposite.
And above all, as it should be, *fun*.
Been a joyful five years, here’s to plenty more!
Always find this an issue when the author’s appeal is so bound with the wit and style of their words: Pratchett and Wodehouse spring to mind. The adaptior of the relatively recent Blandings strangely seemed to think the humour came from the situations and killed all the comedy.
An image from production of The Daleks showing William Hartnell, Carole Ann Ford and William Russell, playing Dr Who, Susan and Ian Chesterton, respectively, confronted by three Daleks in their metallic city on Skaro.
My book about the #DoctorWho story The Daleks (Serial B, whatever you like to call it) came out this week in Obverse Books’ Black Archive range. Here’s a short thread explaining what it covers, in the hope that it might interest a few of you. Link to buy the book and discount code at the end. (1/9)
One of Tancredi’s guards. ;)
Has to be in the running for the Premier League’s finest ever wins-up merchant and master of the dark arts.
And that’s on top of all those key decisions in big games going their way in previous seasons.
Bernardo Silva complaining about City not getting decisions earlier in the season.
Cry me 115 rivers.
Two ex-Newport players on the pitch in a title decider. What a world.

I do think at worst we’re going to get dissatisfied fans AI’ing up their preferred endings and putting them online. Which is fine, it’s a form of fanfic and how a lot of us interact with our favourites. But given game dev mentality, wouldn’t be surprised to see criticised media edited post-release.
Did the Snyder Cut do well enough to make execs thing more like that is viable though? I’m not sure online clamour moves the dial on that now with companies being wiser to small but relatively loud protests.
Was slightly startled reading the 2003 NME Yearbook when Lynch said he’d been to the same con as me - not even a particularly big con at the time either!
That’s someone desperately in need of a combination of The Immaculate Collection and the Ludovici technique.
What did Terrance Dicks make of the sex in Lady Chatterley’s Lover? I’m glad you asked. 0tralala.blogspot.com/2026/04/a-ri...

A wee reminder that the subs window for disabled people and people of colour is still open!
Backs up the description by some wise fellow of her being a ‘most reliable bangermistress’.
And that whoever was doing the gravestone has bad grammar.
Don’t think they give an exact date but it’s meant to be contemporary to transmission (so 80/81ish).
Around a quarter of the first team squad there, which is ridiculous.
Are injuries up around the league generally? Feels that way between the more lenient refereeing encouraging more physical play, plus the sheer number of games (CWC clubs with basically no summer break).
A screenshot of the script of Marco Polo episode 1, in which ‘Doctor Who locks the ship’ is badly printed so it looks like ‘Doctor Who looks the shit’.
DOCTOR WHO LOOKS THE SHIT

I reckon we’ll be fine now, particularly as we’re down to one game a week now. Plus we’ve got to play the teams around us and they’re not in the best form either.
