We are going to Tahiti!

Will have to see if it applies to Hugs juice barrels, I imagine it does. Used to get those things at the day old bread store and loved em as a kid.
And here in AZ we’re breaking 100 degrees this week. 105 by Friday 😩
This was at a nearby target recently in AZ
Odd question but what sort of bag is Greg sporting here? I just really love a good bag.
Has anyone else realized that it’s possible to spell “Ebenezer Scrooge” by combining some letters from Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and Elon Musk?
Totally fine until Julius and Augustus came along and were all “I want a month for myself, I want it now!” in their best Veruca Salt impressions.
The original word for the animal we today call “bear” was abandoned since people used to think saying their name could summon them. Instead they referred to them as “bear” which is an old word meaning “the brown one”
Are those clear plastic Koss Porta-Pros? I love them, I didn't know they had a clear plastic version though, it's one of my favorite aesthetics
I’m gonna toss out something vaguely similar that I haven’t seen mentioned, Chulip. Pretty odd game but definitely has a vague slice of life thing going on.
Legit took me a few seconds to process seeing their logo.
Got my invite from Nintendo to order a Switch 2. I still have a few hours to make up my mind. Gotta say though, having a baby really makes it hard to find time to game, probably going to hold off until later.
Dude it’s so refreshing seeing someone just being so earnest find the success they deserve.
I remember I had to have a fully separate memory card for the original Animal Crossing on GameCube because of its file size. Definitely a different vibe having to manage save files that way back then.
Back and forth forever
Also a good time to get more into PC gaming I would think. Yes prices on GPUs and stuff are going up but game prices there should stay more stable, or at the very least more prone to being on sale
Looking over from an adjacent pile of sand, yeah it’s pretty neat, like where do you even go from a giant pile of sand? Everywhere else is just an ant hill in comparison.
I apparently still can’t get a gif to post properly from the app
The actual clip makes it even more true because the old guy is having a laugh until he realizes he’s given the look like “you’re not supposed to enjoy this”
This is kind of how my experience with video games started. My dad’s old C64 “monitor,” a small avocado green TV with clicky dials and one antenna input. Always had to run my SNES through an RF modulator on that thing.
Today was one of the best days I’ve had in a while. Wife got placed on hold and then canceled at work so I got to sleep in a bit. It also meant I had the full day with her and the baby. Lastly I was able to reorganize my desk space. I will sleep peacefully tonight.
Whatcha cooking up? Looks like maybe a Rochester Hot Sauce?
My wife and I always say “tiny car powers activate” in situations like this or things like when we have a narrow turn to make.
And that's not even touching on the amazingly cartoony animations they're using. Absolutely in love with what they've shown off so far.
Of course I'm excited for a new Mario Kart but I gotta say that new Donkey Kong game is what stood out to me. Clearly Nintendo has learned a lot about open world games from the most recent Zeldas and it really seems like a good fit for DK. And with the destructible terrain, chef's kiss
There’s definitely gonna be some odd and unremarkable places to find
More parents need to watch Bluey, and specifically the Pass the Parcel episode, and then subsequently implement Lucky’s Dad’s rules into real life
My Nintendo Direct predictions based on nothing but pure wishful thinking.
New console added to NSO, GameCube, launching with Wind Waker and Twilight Princess
Snowboard Kids 1 and 2 coming to N64
New F-Zero title announced, no footage
New Mario Kart shown off fully
Silksong (please)
Reverse image search comes up with Leftist Frank for the whale, if that rings a bell at all.
