Went for my first run since knee surgery and subsequent sprain today. Defying medical advice obvs. Distinctly unpleasant jarring sensation throughout. Should learn a lesson from this. Instead will definitely do it again soon.
Been back at work four days and I already can’t wait for my next round of surgery 😩

My 9 year old saw a man being given CPR about 10ft away from her at the game today. She is absolutely traumatised, more so as the night’s gone on and she’s realised what she witnessed. Her dad helped start CPR until the medics arrived so she just stood and watched it happening. Bloody hell.

Last day of sick leave after 2 months off and this is the first day I’ve been able to walk normally. I know it’s fundamentally a good thing for returning to work, but honestly, last fucking day?? Not even a few freebies for all the crawling and limping around I’ve had to do. Not fair.

Eliza up at 06.30 today, excited for sleepover at her friends. Bouncing off the walls all day, driving me mad asking Alexa how long until 2pm every five minutes.
Eliza also back home by 10.30pm with mania induced vomiting from being a giddy kipper all day and going on a blue candy floss bender 😂
I’ve had a little knee-furb job, cartilage tears and tidy up. Was fine first 2 weeks then started playing up. Just as it was getting better again I went and sprained the fucker last week. Not being able to walk for 2 weeks has been hard. Grateful for codeine trips to occupy me! 😵💫
I’m on my sixth week off after surgery and recovery setbacks. It’s a strange feeling; I’m nervous about going back to work but also going a bit mad sat indoors unable to walk properly. I reckon I’d manage as a lottery winner but this an odd feeling, not particularly enjoyable at times.

I was probably hasty in blaming the season for my lack of interest; it’s actually the club. The place has lost its soul under the current board. This season has just cemented how shite things are. Hope those two at the top are first to go in summer or nothing will change 💩 Yesterday was cack tho!
