Nope, battery powered

I do enjoy a good bad-taste joke. ๐
Solar powered lawnmower's working a treat. You can see some of my panels on the roof behind me. Even roped my visiting guest into yardwork. ๐ก I sure know how to show a girl a good time.
I feel attacked.
Man she looks good at 'golden hour'. Getting classic EV withdrawal though so after my holiday I'll be getting back in the workshop to finish the Austin Allegro battery pack install then I'm planning a Goodbye Pork Pie run. ๐
Opportunity charging:
Sadly not, but the Allegro does!
Stopped at an op shop for a little browse while walking coast to coast and stumbled upon my pickup line in audio cassette form.
We are trying disparately to avoid it, but we are presently having to walk alongside a long cluster of combustion vehicles. Stinky.
Doing a coast to coast walk across New Zealand. It sounds impressive but it can be done in like 90 minutes in Auckland. Still, it's a novel way to show my visiting friend around. Free too. ๐
Poop. Was at the charger on the right but when the dude in the black BYD plugged in it conked out and wouldn't restart charging. Had to move to the broken one on the left but it's sloooooow, even for a 15 year old Leaf! ๐
I hope we can fix up and widen our rapid charging network soon. It's overdue.
Showing my overseas visitor some less common kiwi tourist spots, including ol' squirty.
Doing some sightseeing and we stumbled upon the MEGA COW in Morrinsville while grabbing a charge. โก
I should call her...
For my birthday present my folks just took me to the tip. ๐ ๐
Rare footage of me running.
[2026. Colorized]
Whipped up a batch of ANZAC biscuits. Visitor from overseas approves.
Not an album I want, but I'm thrilled to see audio cassettes slowly returning to stores. My big, dusty collection is about to be relevant again.
Turns out I was ahead of the curve... by just four decades. ๐
Me trying to be cool:
Sure are!
Playing tourist in my own back yard today. I've lived all over the world but New Zealand really is the only place I want to call home. Can't believe all this is 40 minutes from my doorstep.
Now, I'm no flagologist, but...
For two hundred dollars you'd bloody well hope so! ๐ฒ
Also, THANK YOU to everyone who helped me choose the best spot for the bumper sticker. Looks like we're all in agreement.
That's neat. I just applied my new bumper sticker onto the Leaflet. Give me a wave if you see me tootling down the highway. ๐
I got attacked by an octopus. I'm also a 45 year old child.
It's taken many years but I finally got my living room designed the way I like it. It's got such a great indoor outdoor flow now. Great for entertaining. Pop in if you're nearby. ๐
What's everyone's thoughts on my new sticker location? I'm thinking down on bottom of the bumper (option 4)? ๐ค
Gutters cleared. Now draining my kitchen-accessible rainwater tank as it's gonna fill up faster than I can use it today.
The Running of the Sheep is baaaaaack! ๐
Made it to the Running of the Sheep! In a few minutes the main street of Te Kuiti is gonna go bleating mad. ๐
