I get a lot of students who ask for a mystery suggestion. After I tell them about it, I tell them this my favorite kind of mystery because it really happened.

āThe Mona Lisa Vanishesā by Nicholas Day & illustrated by Brett Helquist is a perfect mix of mystery, biography, history, & nonfiction.
While this book is for middle grade and above, adults will love it too. I canāt keep it on our shelves at school. I loved it!

I turned the tables on my classes today and had them do the book talks instead of me. All volunteers. They loved it and of course everyone wanted the books their peers talked about.
