One of my intro questions asks student to share what’s on their playlist and one student said they’ve been listening to old 2000s music. I responded I was born in the 1900s. Got a few laughs.

My dad worked 2nd and 3rd shift in factories for 25 years in Kentucky. Learned a lot watching my dad do that every day just to provide.

This is one of those pinch me moments! Sitting alongside such brilliant teacher-scholars and people I admire. I've looked up to these folks and their research on writing assessment for a long time. Excited to be on this roundtable. See you next Saturday in Baltimore at #4C25
