I switched to a stand up desk during covid. I love it now.

Taking in the quiet of winter on a chilly walk and realizing growth doesn’t happen instantly. There’s a long, slow build up to spring. That thought is comforting

We’ve accumulated quite a bit of snow in the last few weeks, all to be washed away in a warm downpour tomorrow.

I’ve struggled with Christmas since the passing of Maureen. Even more so now that the kids are at school or on their own. The winter solstice is a more meaningful day to me, so I’ll put up a tree and decorate it on the solstice, when the kids are home🤷‍♂️.

Agreed!! Especially the Safari browser. It’s impossible to flip between the thousands of tabs that I always keep open😱

My counseling props include the usual to provide a soothing and welcoming space. Games, plants, tissues.

All watched over by the Incredible Hulk, because he’s the most relatable prop I could find to help men understand emotional regulation🤷‍♂️.

I work at home on Friday, and my home office looks out over this view. I looked up and noticed this scene and had to walk outside to take it in.

I could never work without access or a view to the outdoors and never have.

I used the last of the toilet paper this morning, and I didn’t put a new roll on the holder!😱.
