The deafening silence of the celery sticks is the worst part. But not as judgmental as the cans of creamed corn.

So naturally, I asked my celery sticks...
Yeah, it's a real spring this year, compared to the last two we had. I forgot for a bit how long it can drag before we get into summer territory.
photo of my finished drawing of Sue the T. rex on a table at the airport. They had surprisingly good chili cheese fries there, which as we all know are the ultimate in art fuel. I kinda fucked up the placement on the page, this was much harder to draw than expected. I kept getting sweaty too which I only realized the next day when I woke up with a fever was probably me actually being sick and not knowing it. I should go back and draw this again when I am not sick and do a better job!!!
I was drawing in the museum until they closed(thats why it looks empty above) so I had to finish it up at the airport. I've wanted to see Sue in person since I was a kid so this was a dream come true.

Illustration from the thighs up of Mortal Kombat’s Kano, approximating his original design of a white gi with brown bandolier. His hands are held up in front of his stomach dripping with blood.

A drawing of Spider-man bracing his legs against the side of the Hulk, pulling on webbing that has ensnared Hulk’s oversized fist. Hulk looks enraged (how unusual!), Spidey looks strained.
More more Spidey
The titular character of the Bayonetta games, in a graceful gun ballet pose, or at least as graceful as my clunky style gets. She wears glasses and long black hair tied high and intertwined with red ribbon and gold chain, and a skin tight black suit with pistols on her high heels.

Grace Ashcroft from Resident Evil Requiem depicted from the knees up in a white t-shirt with bandages underneath. She’s holding a pistol down by her jeans, wears her hair in a wavy bob cut, and looks concerned.

Disney's new CEO, whose pay package is worth nearly $45M, just announced 1,000 layoffs.
Reminder that Disney paid an effective federal income tax rate of ZERO in 2025 and aims to buy back $7B of its own stock in 2026.
This is what corporate greed looks like.
Marvel’s Daredevil & Spider-man are sitting on the cornice of a NYC rooftop where Punisher stands behind them, and a water tower stands behind him. They are at rest, as if being photographed for an album cover.
Spider-man, Daredevil, Punisher. Just some dudes chillin'
Also screw wealthy CEO’s and corporations laying off the very people that made them wildly successful, just for short term gains.
Folks with institutional knowledge, with decades of work, dedication and success all dismissed.
For what? Who knows but it’ll make a great bonus for an exec.
I can’t comprehend it. These are the folks who have created the first visuals for every. Single. Marvel Studios film. Ever.
A really small team of people, some have been there for over a decade.
They are a HUGE part of Marvel Studios’s success, to just be let go like that?
I got no words.
Devastated to hear the entire Marvel Studios’s Visual Development team has been let go. This was my old home but more importantly, the home of so many incredible artists and peers.
Absolutely heartbreaking 😔
Sending all my impacted peers my love and support. Please reach out if you need anything!
(Just finished the article. Contractors going forward to save on salaries / social advantages. Siiiiiiiiiigh.)
It's baffling. What are they going to do? Rehire artists at lower salaries? Hope AI does the trick?
It's heartbreaking. I hate how disposable the work force always end up being. My heart goes out to all the amazing artists impacted by this. Thank you for everything.
Can’t believe the news, Disney shutting down the marvel. vis dev department. This teams art made them billions and billions of dollars, but it seems that paying a handful or so of fulltime illustrators is simply too much to ask these days.
They'd probably like our total apathy instead of our anger. I feel that's the long game for authoritarian regimes. Wear everyone down and then maintain it through fear.
I'll hold on to anger and hope because fuck those idiots (also directed at our wannabe Canadians MAGA idiots in all provinces).
I love that some media keep hoping for sanity / peace and every time, for 10 years, that idiot has proven us that he's a bull in a china shop that only cares about his own personal gain.
(I should stop ranting on your threads 😅 I don't think you need to know how angry I am at these clowns anymore.)
Hell yeah! 🤘🏻
A drawing of a Muppet-y Cloud Strife riding on a Big-Bird-like chocobo.
From this day in 2021: My nephews were curious about Final Fantasy after seeing a Moogle I drew and I described Chocobos as looking "kind of like Big Bird" so then I had to draw it.
There's a special place in Hell for him and his patron, Peter Thiel.
He's such an evil, opportunistic weasel that didn't think twice about selling his soul.
He's such a dweeb.
His whole schtick of going to Hungary to meddle in their elections while complaining that "bureaucrats in Brussels" (only thing he can repeat about the EU because he doesn't know jackshit) were meddling to remove Orbán... It was so pathetic.
It's crazy how much the last 10 years have been an extraordinary lesson on how thin the line is between a functioning society and the fall of it.
Looking back, the philosophy classes I had in college about that topic were so right about it. It's a tale as old as human kind.
Yo, that Bowser and Geno are looking insane! The whole thing is awesome!
Work in progress of Super Mario RPG fan art. Mallow, Geno, Mario, and Toadstool strike action poses in the front, while Bowser smiles sinisterly with a chain chomp in the back, twice the size of the rest of the party. They're standing on a 3D block, reminiscent of the stages in the SNES game. Also Peach is wearing sneakers.
Going back through the WIP pile and hating myself for not finishing this, what the hell.
"Annoying bird, I am the great Leon!"
Yeah. Looks like a rough action platformer that got trampled by the passage of time.
I have no nostalgia related to these titles, and the controls look tanky as hell.
That being said, I'll give it a whirl and see if it puts my patience to the test before or not. Might end up having fun.

I don't think people understand how hard it is to work in the video-game industry right now. If you've been laid off, it can take months if not years to find new work. If you haven't been laid off, you're anxious that you will be laid off.
