Stab a man's hand ONE (1) TIME and suddenly you've got a 10 year gay revenge quest. 😂
(I say not having finished the novel yet and not sure if this is THE revenge quest, haha.)

This got a genuine chuckle out of me 😂
97.4% of survey say that writing being written by a human is very important
A reminder that when "authors" who turn to AI slop claim that "everyone's doing it and it's fine" they're talking absolute bollocks.
They're either in deep denial or they're just lying to try and normalise the practice at everyone else's expense.

Very angry at the world for how it works 😅. Gender, sexuality, colonialism. The whole thing.
Wait, how could I forget the angel that is Robert Walton? 🥹
I don't love giving characters blatantly modern opinions when writing historical fiction. I like my characters to thrash against the reality of that time period. As such, many of my characters puppet the views of the time.
Except the monster.
Forgot to tag @posterpitevent.bsky.social 😅
A fake movie poster that says "Ought to Be Thy Adam" and "this is what you made me for" with two fake film awards and fake R-rating. It is black and white with the cut in half marble statue head.
A trans Frankenstein retelling that's rated R for body horror, freaky gay repression nightmares and... a whole lot of other stuff.

This design is DOPE.
This is my manuscript for a pitch event! It's finished and will be querying this fall (if all goes to plan). 🫡

Image of Mont St Michel with the image of catacomb stacked skulls in the sky. Text reads: Twelve hours, three sisters, one historian chronicling their fate. The Last Night of House Graves. The heirs of Hiuse Graves throw a final party beneath chandeliers carved from bone, convinced their magic will hold until dawn. It will not. Innamorata x Once and Future Witches, They all die at the end ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
THE LAST NIGHT OF HOUSE GRAVES in which the heirs of a dying magical bloodline throw one final party.

Sorry for the clown behaviour, E.M. 🤡😔
Pun accepted 😂. I'll be querying this novel in autumn should all go well! 🤞
Jeeze. 😒 Wish I could say I was surprised that happened to you but... checks out.
Not me posting for Poster Pit and my cover containing classical art of St. Sebastian (edited by the artist Patteef—credit to them for the art)... and Bluesky flags it as sexual. 😂😂 Well there goes any views, haha.
So, uhm, if you like it I guess shoot it a reblog since 🦋 decided to censor it. 😅
Fake cover of the in-progress novel "Ought to Be Thy Adam" with an edited St. Sebastian with a torso of a trans man with top surgery scares. It says: A Trans Frankenstein Retelling Ought to Be Thy Adam "Than make me whole. Take away my anger and I'll weather the shame with you. I am not your bride, not your monster. I ought to be thy Adam. let me be." Gothic novel by B. Hart. With a fake Stonewall book aware sticker.
Snagged a copy of "Ought to Be Thy Adam". Goodreads reviews are saying it's a trans rage & queer guilt Frankenstein retelling (hell yeah). 1890s Germany, dark academia vibes, and lush gothic prose—body horror, too. I'll give it a spin and report back! 🫡

Almost done my dev edits completely but I'm at that stage where I think I'm just... adding things and over-explaining? Can't wait for beta readers to go at the manuscript with a machete 🔪

Centered Text: "Now he wondered a great deal. About himself. About things about which he’d never thought to wonder, because he’d thought his parents and his novels had taught him everything he needed to know about the way love was supposed to be." Text is in a textbox against a five-photo collage featuring images of a snowy forest, a lone oak silhouetted against a cloudy sky, a misty forest, a human eye veined in black, and a close-up of a stag's eye and antlers, showing flowers growing over his eye, moss in his fur, and autumn leaves in his antlers.
A trope map for E.M. Anderson’s The Lord of the Wood with gold text on a dark background reading, “plant magic,” “sentient forest trying to oops! murder people,” “intensely homoerotic shaving scene,” “wound-tending,” “love interest turning slowly into a beast,” “dual-POV brother and sister,” “Beauty and the Beast-inspired but not a retelling,” “the one who heard the stories and the one who was in the stories,” and “hopeless romantic who’s clueless about his own sexuality.” Centered among the text is the cover of E.M. Anderson’s The Lord of the Wood. The cover is blue, paler in the center and darker at the edges, with a central image of a stag of foliage and flowers growing from a tree whose upper branches drip black ooze, with the tagline “Even a beastly woodland protector needs saving...”
I'm shaking in my seat, so excited for when I to get to read The Lord of the Wood by @elizmanderson.com! Out July 21st.
I'm totally sold.

Big mood Milo. When I hit that point (it was "finished" but it was all questions marks of what's working or not) I ended up going with an editor or alpha readers tbh. 😅
You should love the OG then! I think del Toro does good job and while I might not agree with all his thematic choices, it's a BEAUTIFUL movie.
It's on sight, Viktor Frankenstein. 🔫

👀👀 It's almost done cooking.
(When I saw you saying you hadn't read Frankenstein, clicked on your profile and saw you were trans, I was like....oh... oh I /really/ hope he ends up liking the OG. 😂)
Jesus showing off his top surgery scars to the boys (John 20:27) ❤️🔥
.... I have consumed Dracula in every single way possible (BBC radio dramas, camp plays, multiple movies, queer retellings, etc.) except the OG book 😮💨. (Though I did read Carmilla, so I at least read the real OG.)
The Left Hand of Darkness!! 😍
