We do get 6h of daylight around solstice. So not that far north.
Also isn't there an issue of hour past midnight/midday being in the previous pm/am cycle? It is still confusing to me.

Also 24h wristwatches are really nice.

As a person who had to learn what pm/am means as an adult - i do prefer the 24h system. Because in the deadwinter - you really can't tell.
