Those are extremely cool

Truly secure group chat is very hard to right at scale, especially when they are distributed.
We’ve been building them for 5 years. Always happy to have a convo @pfrazee.com and see how we can help.
Attie the Admin just gave me access.
Dont forget about Nextdoor! Quite possibly the MOST problematic app for local issues/politics.
Wave just added support for ATProto identities, becoming the first quantum-secure group chat app that connects ATProto identities with any other identity, secured by XMTP.
That means any Bluesky, Blacksky, or XMTP identity can now join fully secure, interoperable group chats.
Glad you have a nice calm in the storm.
Awesome! We have several teams building AT proto group chats from github.com/xmtplabs/blu...
We'll have some very cool demos soon and will make use of that.
For the Germ extension, is that something you plan to offer to other apps?
it's cold here today. My cats just sit by the fireplace until I make a fire.
New piece of art I recently finished. This is a warm up for doing the same thing on an entire piece of 4' x 8' plywood
Download the Mac app here and send me a message! github.com/xmtplabs/blu...
Also, @saul.bsky.social put this out so can sign in with Blacksky account:
github.com/xmtplabs/blu...
Let me know when you sign in and I can create the group.
Today, @bsky.app + @atprotocol.dev devs can plug into XMTP to give users what they've been asking for: quantum-encrypted, secure group chats that scale to millions.
With our XMTPID identity model, it's finally here.

I dont think I've seen defense dominate a Super Bowl like that.
1/ Typically “office space” means employees only, badges, hierarchy, and half empty spaces. Closed to the community, users, customers, and partners.
This changes today.
Introducing the XMTP Switchboard - pop up offices around the world for our team and entire community.
I really loved your talk. Was very moving and meaningful. I also really loved your dotted lines/amoebas references. Good way to think about it.
that was a great talk. Really inspiring.
Not for me. Only once. I registered last week.
This is such a huge problem with centralized platforms owning our communication and encryption.
Encryption isn't enough.
We are working hard to be able to help any developer, any network, any identity, have secure and decentralized DMs that are censorship-resistant.
Since we began, our mission has never changed:
Build the world's largest & most secure, decentralized messaging network.
Today, with support from Coinbase Wallet, Circle, ENS, Alchemy, @a16z.bsky.social , @masknetwork.bsky.social & Faction VC we're launching the XMTP testnet.

this is cool.
you should write a book. I would love to read that.
@pfrazee.com was trying to find an architectural overview of the decentralization of Bsky (just for fun). It's awesome to see the service working flawlessly!
