I want to be there, to wander those endless hallways and feel the cold, to lose myself in that empty world’s indifference.

Idk how much more I’ll make with this style, but probably very little to nothing. I had a lot of fun with this, and love the style of shading, but I got my own thing going and don’t want to be treading on other’s feet.
However, it was a great study, and taught me stuff about lighting fluids!

Massively inspired by @ph418c.bsky.social, their art has been a large influence to me for a while now, and I really wanted to experiment with their style of shading.

I'm sure I'll always love your art style, it's a massive inspiration for me! The shading, the texture, the teeth especially! They're so soft and round, they sure don't feel like teeth, but there is still so much detail to anatomy.

something I've seen a lot in these animations is that a lot of the movements happen seem incredibly pose to pose, forgoing things like offsetting the different limbs. Was this to closer match the vibe of old sprite animations, or to reflect these character's robotic nature, or both?

ok so, this art is incredibly cool! the details are amazing, and the reflective appearance of the scales are super convincing. Also though of course it makes sense, its super cool to see details like the scales being moved apart, revealing the skin underneath!
