after the last couple of episodes were so action heavy, i was thrilled to see them take such a (comparably) quiet approach to this last episode -

honestly almost certainly my fault watching the first couple episodes of Scavengers Reign in between...

so i promise i do like Invincible, but this season has felt like watching a really great show through YouTube shorts.

like there's these little pockets of brilliance, but also like a million quiet little moments missing and i never feel fulfilled after watching ??

a few clips was funny/probably good promotion, but having the entire ATLA movie leak in full HD before a single trailer/screenshot is a full fucking disaster

watching 'We Need to Talk' for a video, and yeah this is still probably my favorite episode of SU. so stinkin' good from front to back, with a kickass song at the start and a beautifully animated gut punch at the end ~

especially when Eve does it so casually…
