Definitely an adrenaline rush of terror!

A big one huh? It never moved, not a muscle. (Thank goodness) but I definitely need to hike with a big dog again. My little Pom is more of an attraction than deterrent.

You're very wise! I know they're around, but it's been a few years since I've even seen sign of them on my property. This was WAY too freaking close! I kept feeling like someone was watching me... and I was right. It never moved thank goodness!
No more trails without protection.

It's always good to have both little and big dogs.

I still love the outdoors, I live in the sticks. I always have had large protection trained dogs with me until recently. Now I have two Pomeranians. They're not a deterrent, they're probably an attraction if anything.

Yes, left the area and are home. Am definitely not taking that path again. It was a game trail in the woods, obviously not just game use that trail. Eeek!

Yes, its all I could do to not scream and run.

Right? It's heart stopping and then panic heart racing at the same time.

My non profit raises, trains and provides Law Enforcement with comfort K9's. I wish your department had their own therapy dog but I'm glad you get these visitors.

Breakfast guests at our Mountain Precinct in Evergreen looked a little more...outdoorsy than usual.

During National Wildlife Week, we’re celebrating the beauty, biodiversity, and wild spirit that make Jefferson County such a remarkable place to live and work.

How many times have you been hiking in the woods and thought to look up? 😂😆

They're currently in the process of suing him. We got the same attny who successfully sued him before. He filed a 75pg complaint with the State & Dept of Health hoping to get his license susp so he won't harm any more dogs.

Happy Easter weekend to you too!

Ahh, my apologies. The necropsies showed the dogs had no genetic reasons to die.
Vet records showed the Vet did the spay in approx 9 min, used 1 clamp at each ligature site & didn't remove the clamps prior to tightening the ligatures. He also released both dogs 1 hr post-op without seeing them🤬
