It's not Saturday, it's Tattoosday! 🩷🗡 (don't mind my eye bags, I'm tired and all the good lighting is on my leg)

I just finished this a few weeks ago! It was so good.
One of the greatest bummers of my lifetime is that both stars of The Boondock Saints turned out to be such rotten pieces of shit. I'm still going to watch the movie in honor of St. Patrick's Day but it's not the same.
SINNERS deserves ALL the awards & best reviews. All of them.
Slate has been absolute ass (and transphobic to boot 👢)for several years. If they published a piece telling me grass was green and water was wet, I'd fact check it with at least 2 reputable sources.
If you're cheering on Javier Barden for his *correct* pro-Palestine comments at the Oscars but went to see Scream 7, your mom's a heaux. It's literally the easiest business to stand on but some people are just of weak bloodlines I guess. Couldn't be me and my 10 toes.
Just finished You Weren't Meant To Be Human by @ajwhiteauthor.bsky.social & I'm NOT ok. Never has a book had me cry, yell, hold back vomit, & pray for any kind of relief for the protagonist regardless of how unlikely it seemed. Simultaneously the ugliest & most beautiful thing I have ever read.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
*i also use an African net sponge so I was going to be clean either way but that double cleanse just hits different. Going to bed clean to the bone, moisturized, and smelling like a dream is a non-negotiable.
I ran out of fresh washcloths* last night and told my coworker this morning. She said, "oh so you riding Funky Friday today huh?" I said DURING BLACK HISTORY MONTH? Hell no, I used a small hand towel instead. I know they might not be MY ancestors but I'm not offending them this month of all months 🧵
Caught a Lite Sneeze by Tori Amos. The peaks! The valleys! The building momentum!
Colorful book cover depicting the king from a deck of cards, as well as fire, blood, swords, and traditional good luck charms like 4 leaf clovers and rabbits with the caption, "All Bets Are Off."
I just finished Lucky Day by @chucktingle.bsky.social and I haven't been so impacted by a book in years - a lovely, fantastical, existential story filled with hope. @marawilson.bsky.social was perfection as the audio performer and it had the best ending I've read in a long time. It's a must read!
Happy Valentine's ❤️ Day from me and Papa Perpetua !
The show announcement for the This Ends at Prom episode of Warm Bodies.
NEW EP: WARM BODIES (2013)
Romeo & Juliet with zombies? We're in. Let's discuss the post-Twilight boom of monster romance stories, Nicholas Hoult starting his weird lil' guy era, and why the message that love will always conquer all feels so nice these days.

I can't wait to listen to this ep! I left the theater bawling because as a peson of *an age* it reminded me of an AIDS allegory. People catching a virus, being societally despised, falling apart, and then suddenly when someone shows care, they are able to become "human" again through intervention.
I'm not looking forward to Bad Bunny's HT show simply because I know when he sings DtMF I'm going to cry like a baby in front of everyone. Obv I know MEX & PR are completely different places/holidays but this song will always remind me of the grown-up sequel to Remember Me from Coco.
I gotta sleep with a memory foam pillow between my knees and shoved the whole way up into my 🐈 to keep everything where it's supposed to be and make sure I don't roll over into the wrong side in my sleep.
And we know that they don't have the intelligence, ability, or shame necessary to keep their mouths shut about it. I feel like the absence of their grating voices and omnipresence is proof that ICE agents en masse can't get no bitches. 🧵3/3
Where are all the ICE WAGs? Because you know if they existed, we wouldn't be able to escape them. They would be ICEd out to to bottom (and not in the good way) demanding free Sutter Home moscato at Applebee's and crying about how hard it is for "them" right now to "serve the country." 🧵2/2
You know how certain women make their husband's job their whole personality? like "my husband is military so WE serve the country" or when electricians travel during disasters to restore power & wives get all mad about "bucket bunnies"? Or wives of cops who are head to toe in Thin Blue Line flags?🧵
If You Have Ghosts
"Smut" isn't my genre of books or tv but I did watch a bit at the urging of my coworker (50 y/o conservative cishet woman). Maybe she impacted how I felt about it or maybe it just wasn't for me,but ultimately it made me feel icky. Representation is important but it bordered on fetishization for me.
Never Is a Promise has to be skipped unless you have "sob uncontrollably" pre-scheduled into your day.
Any arts and crafts wizards in here? I got a shirt that frankly I hate and would like to salvage. It's a sports style tshirt with the big player number on the back and I want to make the number glittery. Are there any specific fabric paints that would work for this?

Image of the book cover of Black Flame depicting person with film wrapped around their neck and coming out of their mouth, with eyes lit similar to a film projector.
I just finished Black Flame by @scumbelievable.bsky.social . I have never in my life read something so disgusting, depraved, & vulgar. It will 100% be in my favorite books of 2026. Absolutely incredible, just like Manhunt. She is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. The audiobook is perfect.
Listen to the story that shaped a generation. Decades after starring in Stand By Me, the film adaptation of THE BODY, Wil Wheaton lends his voice to an all new recording of the audiobook. Pre-order your copy and start listening March 24, 2026.
I'm not even trying to be funny, I'm a whole-ass hillbilly and I only know who ONE of those honkeys are.
This rotted little rodent is my second least favorite thing about this state ( @johnfetterman.com being the first )
