I emailed 12 independent bookstores in London in July (&circled back in Sept.)to ask if I could set up a Yuletide ghost story reading by horror writers of color & not one has gotten back to me. If anyone knows a shop that’s willing to walk the walk on their diversity initiatives, please let me know!
The vet is coming to visit our ancient cats tomorrow. Last time he came, one cat bit him really hard. Excited to see how this works out next.
Everything is a bit much at the moment but our bird feeder is full of very brave little sparrows and some great tits hanging on in the eye of Storm Bert and I love them.
