Democrats overperformed in the Georgia special election:

Republican Clayton Fuller beat Democrat Shawn Harris 56% to 44%.

Marjorie Taylor Greene won the same district by nearly 30 points in 2024.

Trump carried it in '24 by nearly 40 points.

At pre-election rallies in #Hungary, the crowd began chanting: #Russians — go home! The historic slogan "Ruszkik haza" emerged during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 and was directed against the #Soviet occupation 👍

The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it.

This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this.

What garbage

I think it's bad for the President to threaten to annihilate an entire culture and i do not think you are being alarmist if you take his threats seriously and literally.

A few have suggested that some aspects of this mission--joy, international teamwork, diversity--are being played up to stick it to the hateful attitude of the administration. But I don't think it's that. I think it's just that those things are essential to and inseparable from a mission like this.
