A spring evening in Manchester, and a bit of Noel Coward.

I’m Scottish. Constantly cold and wet and not having fun was my childhood.
I love this #winterolympics event.
You ski like mad then shoot a gun.

I love this story.
A reminder of the inspiration of teachers in education throughout our careers.
And by coincidence I finished this today (again), with so many elements set in this part of the world.
It’s my favourite btw. Cheers. S
Not on my watch…😉
Another successful weekend on-call, de-spouting the Emergency Department one horrifying beaker lid at a time.
This is a terrific piece of work.

Right here ❤️
Two weeks tonight I’m singing Gerontius again with UoM Chorus.
Can’t wait. One of my favourites.

It was a cornerstone of outpatient, CGA, SDEC, MDT therapy and admission avoidance all in one.
That was 15 years ago.
Very short-sighted 🤷🏻♂️
I envy those units across the UK who were fortunate enough to retain theirs.
Fantastic day of Geriatric medicine regional teaching @rcphysicians.bsky.social #TheSpine in Liverpool today bringing together 45 Mersey & Manchester/Lancashire Registrars 😊

Glorious weekend in God’s Own Country.
