The power to run elections belongs to the states, not Donald Trump. His latest stunt is a blatant attempt to federalize our elections and restrict mail-in voting. I helped build our system, I’ve fought to protect it, and as the next SOS, I will fight to defend your right to vote by mail.

Last night was truly special. We had an incredible turnout at my fundraiser in Boulder, surrounded by so many friends and leaders of our community. Seeing this level of energy and momentum behind our campaign means more to me than I can put into words.

Citizens recording law enforcement in public is constitutionally protected activity. Violently confronting citizens for exercising their rights is a betrayal of the oath – a betrayal that is getting people killed while diminishing us all as Americans. My heart aches for Minnesota.

Today I joined @SEIU Local 105 outside of Palantir to say loud and clear: ICE out of Colorado. Palantir is putting profits over people, working with ICE to surveil our communities. From Minnesota to Colorado and across the US, ICE has no place here.
