Dying in office because you insisted on clinging to power until the very end instead of letting a new generation of leaders rise should be seen for the shameful, egomaniacal act that it is.

Tesla just unlocked sales to 50,000+ government agencies It marks a significant step in expanding Tesla's presence in the public sector, where procurement processes have traditionally slowed electric vehicle adoption.

ah cool, more tax money going to prop up Tesla's falling sales

The entire reason the Republican party even exists is inefficiencies in the U.S. electoral and parliamentary systems. It is a party based upon doing nothing by creating failure--and then running against said failures.

Because we get asked a lot.

The Technological Republic, in brief.

1. Silicon Valley owes a moral debt to the country that made its rise possible. The engineering elite of Silicon Valley has an affirmative obligation to participate in the defense of the nation.

2. We must rebel against the tyranny of the apps. Is the iPhone our greatest creative if not crowning achievement as a civilization? The object has changed our lives, but it may also now be limiting and constraining our sense of the possible.

3. Free email is not enough. The decadence of a culture or civilization, and indeed its ruling class, will be forgiven only if that culture is capable of delivering economic growth and security for the public.

4. The limits of soft power, of soaring rhetoric alone, have been exposed. The ability of free and democratic societies to prevail requires something more than moral appeal. It requires hard power, and hard power in this century will be built on software.

Palantir put out a 22-point summary of their CEO's book The Technological Republic. It's pitched as a defence of the West, but if you read it through the VDA framework, verification, deliberation, accountability, what it's actually doing looks rather different.

Justin Fairfax killing his wife is what happens when we don’t take sexual assault & domestic violence seriously. There were years and years of warnings & accusations that if listened to would have prevented this tragedy

I just feel like if I were a prolific serial rapist I would not seek the national spotlight but I guess if the only reason you exist is to try and wield power over others you don’t worry about things like that

Keep in mind during primaries and later, during the general election that the same people who brought us to where we are will not be the ones who fix it. Vote accordingly.

If any other nation invaded a sovereign nation and killed hundreds of civilians the USA would condemn it. But with Israel they defend it. This isn’t justice. This is literally how world wars begin.

The US must stop tying our fate to Netanyahu’s fate—or we’ll all suffer irreparably as a result.

BREAKING: After the ceasefire, Israel today bombed Lebanon and killed another 100 people. Citing the breach Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz.

A reminder that Israel has broken the Gaza ceasefire hundreds of times with impunity and without consequence. And now they breach this ceasefire.

can we finally stop with the "half of the country" nonsense. 64% of eligible voters cast votes in 2024 so at best it's under 1/3rd of adults in the country. Shitty people should just take ownership of their shitty views.

YALL.

I know everybody on here rich but I would absolutely stash away some canned goods in the pantry and cupboards and some frozen meats in the ice box. Keep a couple of those big packs of water on hand too.

Just be prepared and be safe.
