They were bred to pull carts with goods, and also to be an all round farm dog π
The St Bernard is much larger and was used more frequently for mountain rescues, although they have also used Berners, but that was never their main purpose

Rook was all wags the entire time. Flynn was much more like βitβs TOUCHING MEβ π€
Unfortunately donβt have any recommendations as of yet. I borrowed a friendβs harness and cart.
Itβs expensive to get your own setup, so Iβve been keeping my eye open on FB marketplace
This morning Rook and Flynn got to try out what they were bred for! Rook was a pro and took to it like heβd always done it!
Flynn was a bit more unsure and will need some more practice, but heβs getting the hang of it!
So proud of my guys π₯°
Rookβs littermate brother Scottie stayed with me for 2+ weeks. Handsome good boys waiting to be released from the car to go on a walk with friends!
I used my cutting machine to make some Berner silhouettes for my friend who wants to make cards with them.
Slapped some POSCA on them and tadaa! Little Berner!
Also been working on repainting a couple Christmas Berner statues for the Berner show!
I really enjoy sprucing these guys up! So so so much work, but so so so worth it!
I made vinyl decals of my boys for on the car π₯°
They have a white vinyl background so theyβll pop nicely on the black glass!

Iβll be a vendor and Flynn will be showing too! Iβve been working on lots of extra Berner products, including new greeting cards!

Henrieke designs the most wonderful pins!! β¨
We're 15 backers away from getting vinyl stickers of every unlocked pin design!
There's a letter mail level, so if getting pins shipped is too much for you, you can opt to just pick out stickers and small prints!
You can decide on which designs after the campaign.

Iβm visiting family in the Netherlands, but had to check in on the Westminster dog show to watch my boy Flynnβs sire go around the ring!
Itβs a big honor to be invited to Westminster β¨
Super proud of Tundra!
It feels so unreal π
I wish I was there to give you the biggest hug right now π₯Ίπ©·
Dipper discovered the heated blanket: a short story.
Loves the heated blanket so much he refused to move for Rook, who is now laying on top of him π
Heated bliss on both sides

Spend some time this afternoon clearing enough of the branches to easily walk by the side of the house and have access to the gate.
Anyone in need of organic high quality greenery to make Christmas wreaths, I have an unlimited supply π
Checked in with my neighbors and thankfully everyone was safe and it completely missed their house!
With the power out it was pitch black. I dared to peek my head out the patio door and looked at the fence which had branches on it, initially I thought it was part of the tree that had come down.
But then when I looked out the windows at the front of the house there was NO tree π³
I saw my back neighborsβ green houses fly around right before the sky lit up greens and blues and the power clicked out.
Got the leashes, set them down by my bed when I heard a big noise.
I thought it was part of the tree because it wasnβt THAT loud
I usually donβt mind stormy weather, but boyβ¦ this storm picked up so quickly and definitely made me feel nervous last night. The sounds the roof was making kept setting off the dogs.
I was feeling nervous enough that I ended up putting a set of leashes by my bed in case of emergency.
Last night was quite eventful π³
We had a big windstorm and my neighborβs massive pine tree came down!! Thankfully it fell perfectly between the homes and no one got hurt.
Cleanup is going to be a pain π¬
I love all my cat buddies! They were all on their best behavior and super snuggly <3
They are going to be so happy when you get home!!
My friend set up her citron tree as her Christmas tree this year! Super creative and I love the sustainability!! π±
Rook being an inconsiderate big brother. Flynnβs face cracked me up π€
My boys are having a sleepover with my friend so I can help another friend groom her dogs tomorrow. She broke her wrist and she canβt bathe them herself right now and wonβt be able to for several more weeks while she heals.
