MASSIVE 600 ton Liebherr mining excavator converted from diesel to electric Lloyds Metals and Energy have successfully converted a massive, 650-ton class Liebherr R 996 excavators from diesel power to electric.

If a 600-ton excavator can be converted from diesel to electric, pretty much anything can.

And thanks to Dementia Don and the oil crooks pulling his strings, the world is now - finally - scrambling to break decisively with fossil fuels.

China's electrification bet is paying off. Electricity now accounts for 30% of its energy consumption - 50% higher than the US or Europe.

With 1/3 of global renewable energy capacity already installed, China is structurally more insulated from rising oil prices than most Western economies.

Yes - I tend to focus on global figures and don’t make that clear. But those UK figures are interesting.

Some countries are way ahead and not just with cars, also trucks, and shipping.
Others sadly are being left behind.

Ending oil dependency cycle | The Express Tribune Ending oil dependency cycle

Pakistan went from <5% to 25%+ solar in 4 years. Remarkable.

I was cited in Pakistan's Express Tribune on exactly this — but also on what the Hormuz crisis revealed: electricity resilience ≠ energy security.

Reading the article it appears to include govt discount.
So buying while govt still includes a discount makes sense.

If I’ve read it wrong and discount not included, then it would be even cheaper. So must include it.

Good reason to buy either way..!!

If the UK can't manage full renewables by the end of this parliament, it will be a catastrophic failure caused entirely by corruption.

Heat pumps are the most efficient heating technology ever invented.

They harvest and compress pre existing heat in the air, ground or water and transport it where it is needed.

That energy is all around us.

And it does not have to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
