Battery storage installations will skyrocket 33% in 2026, according to BNEF!
World installed a record 110 GW of battery storage in 2025, according to IEA!
World will install 200 GW/year of battery storage by about 2030-2032.
Huge for solar & wind!

What a brilliant read
"Generation from wind power in Great Britain reach record levels for the first quarter of 2026, with almost 30 Terrawatt-hours (TWh) produced." www.edie.net/wind-generat...
In China battery electric trucks and hybrid trucks now outsell diesel trucks for the first time.
If a 600-ton excavator can be converted from diesel to electric, pretty much anything can.
And thanks to Dementia Don and the oil crooks pulling his strings, the world is now - finally - scrambling to break decisively with fossil fuels.

China's March 2026 exports:
Solar cells up 80%
EVs up 53%
Lithium-ion batteries up 34%
Electricity substitutes for fossil fuels are surging.
China, an Electrostate, competes against the Petrostates that include Russia, Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Hyundai expects 70% increase in EV orders in Q2 2026 over Q1
Oil Price Spike 2026 plus EVs approaching purchase price parity make EVs attractive to consumers.

China's electrification bet is paying off. Electricity now accounts for 30% of its energy consumption - 50% higher than the US or Europe.
With 1/3 of global renewable energy capacity already installed, China is structurally more insulated from rising oil prices than most Western economies.
More than 40% of ships globally transport fossil fuels. Nearly all of them run on fossil fuels too.
Today, the motivation for renewables is about cutting costs and boosting resilience - with growing numbers of businesses making the shift to 100 % renewables

More renewable energy produced in #Scotland Highlands per household than any other area of UK
Annual renewable generation across Highlands totals 7,826,475 MWh, spread across 113,906 households
68,710 kWh of renewable electricity per household

Don’t think for one second that Trump didn’t know what he’s doing with Pope Leo. There was a really great Article in the Atlantic about the three influences that are destroying America.
1. The angry podcaster, who’s job it is the rage bait angry men.
2. The Seven Mountain
Yes can’t rely on the news anymore !!!
YouTube is brilliant for how to do almost anything.
Even though I’m not a fan of YouTube.
Yes - I tend to focus on global figures and don’t make that clear. But those UK figures are interesting.
Some countries are way ahead and not just with cars, also trucks, and shipping.
Others sadly are being left behind.
Pakistan went from <5% to 25%+ solar in 4 years. Remarkable.
I was cited in Pakistan's Express Tribune on exactly this — but also on what the Hormuz crisis revealed: electricity resilience ≠ energy security.

Opting out is simple - if anyone finds it difficult call the company, they will help.
Or, seriously, you can find instructions to anything online.
It’s changing fast… like the switch to EVs… the charging network is expanding faster than many realise.
With current ME wars pushing EV sales even faster.
Peak fossil fuel cars sales globally was 2017/201

Reading the article it appears to include govt discount.
So buying while govt still includes a discount makes sense.
If I’ve read it wrong and discount not included, then it would be even cheaper. So must include it.
Good reason to buy either way..!!
A HUGE, narrative-breaking moment for the UK car market
New EVs are now cheaper than petrol cars on average, says Autotrader
Last yr CCC said price parity was due by 2028 – and it's already here
And EVs are already MUCH cheaper to run than petrol
Iron ore billionaire Andrew Forrest mocks #Murchoch tabloid front page story and editorial that says #electric truck technology is not available.
I’ve noticed that, along with the hostile tone saying..
“Do some research”
Interesting take but plenty of info gives alternative views, Israel got out of Gaza and stayed out… seems to be complicated by the type of research a person chooses to do
“The Battle for Gaza
Sunday June 10th 2007: Fighting resumes between Fatah and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.”
#Volvo says new extended range #electric truck, and the next generation of its other heavy trucks, means it has "never been easier to replace diesel #trucks with electric ones.”
Denmark ran their entire country on renewables for all of March, just Wind and Solar.
If the UK can't manage full renewables by the end of this parliament, it will be a catastrophic failure caused entirely by corruption.
Good morning with good news: World's first 100% green grid is fast-tracked, will supply full days by 2027 and fully operate by 2028.
Australia's Pilbara grid will include 1.2 GW of solar, more than 600 MW of wind and 4-5 GWh of batteries.

If we switched to #renewableenergy, the number of ships crossing the ocean would fall by 40% because they're just carrying coal & oil & gas!! buff.ly/dpTrSpO

Make cheap electric cars and we won't have to deal with this Straits of Hormuz oil bullshit. We will get cleaner air as an added benefit.
finance.yahoo.com/economy/arti...
Heat pumps are the most efficient heating technology ever invented.
They harvest and compress pre existing heat in the air, ground or water and transport it where it is needed.
That energy is all around us.
And it does not have to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
The amazing thing here is, how certain he is that he knows more than climate scientists, while making such idiotic statements.
