but today i was like actually it rocks that i got to see and hug ppl i met online 8 years ago and get excited with them over stuff we made back then, and that they’re working on the thing we first bonded over, and that we’re all 25-30+ seeing kids fall in love with it the same way we did.

i’ve been struggling with that very stupid but unavoidable mid-to-late-20s thing where you KNOW that you’re still young and will continue to be so through much of your 30s (and that youth doesn’t actually matter), but still FEEL very aware and frightened of your mortality and the passage of time

got to meet a bunch of folks from the 2018-19 renaissance while also seeing kids experiencing the magic of a hs meetup (for maybe the first time) just like i was doing when i was their age. not sure how to explain, but it made me feel my age in a kind of wonderful way

i was only at nycstuck for a couple hours but it was not only fun it was genuinely life-affirming
