The city of Portland should increase the CEO Pay Ratio Surtax to 100% on pay ratios of ≥100:1 and 250% for ratios ≥250:1

The Mayor should cut PPB overtime down to near zero in the budget and shove any extra money that comes out back toward his shelter/homeless services budget.

If I were Mayor, I'd push to make every Sunday a car-free day, where the majority of personal automobiles are banned from the most of the city and all public transit is fare-free for the entire 24 hour period.

But I know many able-bodied people with cars would absolutely flip out.

Something to note is a constitutional overhaul requires congress (& subsequently the states) to reassert itself anyway.

The issue is congressional reassertion requires the electorate to punish any congress which fails to do so.

Voters are, in some respect, as complicit/lazy as congress.

It's a downstream effect of modern trad* TTRPG culture expecting GMs to be entirely responsible for player fun and engagement, sometimes to the detriment of their own fun.

FX2 is pretty much the bare minimum quality of service we should have for most lines in Portland, with a few additional lines for more N-S coverage.
