there was a controlled burn in the next county. our entire campus inside and out smells like campfire. i like that smell when you can also get fresh air. i’m going to have a headache for days now.

why does the canvas assignment batch edit page take forever to work? there is no reason for a lag after putting in a date. this makes starting a unit take waaaaaaay too long. #iteach

finished my grades for the quarter. one class has 8 students failing. one class has no f’s or d’s. clearly my class is not difficult but does require some effort and that’s all i really ask for. #iteach

bravo! this production was amazing. the design, staging, costumes (!), music, performances, everything. this is why there is still opera. i cried. #metopera

the older woman next to me admonished @agent8899.bsky.social and i for chit chatting during the previews. she is not making opera welcoming. at least my phone didn’t go off halfway through or my bags rustle like many of the other people around us. but yeah, yell at me for talking before it starts.

what have i gotten myself into? a five and half hour opera?!?!? i’m excited for tristan und isolde (and especially for lise davidsen) but this is a true commitment to prove timothée chalamet wrong. #metopera

I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For

since school has messed with my algorithm, i’ve been trying to get spotify to play me new-to-me stuff. listened to a discover playlist and this came up. it’s like this band was made for me. now i’m listening to the album. so happy right now.

started the day with an amazing massage. now time for breakfast before the rest of my day. this has been a great spring break.

i’m really glad the wings won this game. they need every point they can get. if they don’t make the playoffs… i’ll be done with them… until october. #lgrw🐙
