two computer screens. the top one shows a slide from our presentation give the participants directions for the poster activity-

“make a poster for one of the 13 disability categories.
should include:
-definition/prevalence
-characteristics/impact on learning
-teaching strategies”

the bottom screen is of the google slide deck everyone is working on to complete the activity. you can see that some of the participants are further along than others.

teaching our new swd 2.0 class and loving using google slides to create posters about the 13 categories of disabilities. it’s fun to watch in real time. #fea #unionstrong #iteach

there was a controlled burn in the next county. our entire campus inside and out smells like campfire. i like that smell when you can also get fresh air. i’m going to have a headache for days now.

why does the canvas assignment batch edit page take forever to work? there is no reason for a lag after putting in a date. this makes starting a unit take waaaaaaay too long. #iteach

finished my grades for the quarter. one class has 8 students failing. one class has no f’s or d’s. clearly my class is not difficult but does require some effort and that’s all i really ask for. #iteach

alright, my final tally for spring break is not bad. not really for school tomorrow but i’ll
make it work.

bravo! this production was amazing. the design, staging, costumes (!), music, performances, everything. this is why there is still opera. i cried. #metopera

the older woman next to me admonished @agent8899.bsky.social and i for chit chatting during the previews. she is not making opera welcoming. at least my phone didn’t go off halfway through or my bags rustle like many of the other people around us. but yeah, yell at me for talking before it starts.

I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For

since school has messed with my algorithm, i’ve been trying to get spotify to play me new-to-me stuff. listened to a discover playlist and this came up. it’s like this band was made for me. now i’m listening to the album. so happy right now.

i’m really glad the wings won this game. they need every point they can get. if they don’t make the playoffs… i’ll be done with them… until october. #lgrw🐙

an infographic of my reading during spring break. i have read 1378 pages for 19h 25m. i have finished 4 books. most of my stats are up (i guess from previous days…?) except for my number of days reading because as i said, i’ve been surprisingly busy.

in the foreground is a tray of drying ravioli that have recently been crimped. in the background is a container of spinach and cheese that is going in the ravioli. in the middle is a chalice filled with a green drink. some ravioli look better than others. some were the first pancake. we got better as we went along.

a screenshot of the win probability of the high point university (12) and wisconsin (5) game. the win probability shows wisconsin as being more likely to win for the entire game until the last second when high point won 83 to 82.

i thought this was supposed to be spring break? why am i at the olive garden eating soup, salad, and breadsticks to keep me warm on this dreary day? can’t wait to get home, under a blanket, and finish my book. this feels like michigan not florida.

a plate with two pancakes and two slices of bacon. the pancakes are dyed green for st. patrick’s day. this has been a thomas family tradition going back as far as i can remember.
