Luxury hotel developer Dar Global is designing and building a new Trump Tower in Dubai. Donald has been paid over $27M for his name on DG hotels in Oman and Dubai. In 2025 UAE invested $2B in World Liberty Financial. Now Trump wants the USA to pay for UAE's war slump.
From 2014 to 2024, Hussain Sajwani paid Trump between $14.1M and $30M in licensing and management fees at a Trump-branded golf course. Dar Global subsidiary of Saudi-based Dar Al Arkan is the firm responsible for developing and designing Trump-branded hotels and resorts in the Middle East.
Trump-connected projects being developed there have a combined value of @ $17 billion—with the bulk of that funding from sovereign wealth funds. Trump does not bankroll or own them. The Gulf economies were booming, partnering happily with the president’s personal businesses.

Businesses are verging on insolvency. Governments are taking on enormous debt to slow inflation. By year’s end, in the dire projections by the United Nations and others, millions across the industrious Asian continent could be pushed into poverty. The world economy is slowing nearly everywhere.

e360.yale.edu/digest/repub... Trump WH added $40 billion in new federal subsidies for oil, gas, and coal in 2025, adding $4 billion to the $30.8 billion given each year to fossil fuel companies over the next decade. Trump curbed tax credits for wind and solar, defunded clean energy grants.
Roberts argued that Obama's law effecting coal-fired plants was “the most expensive regulation ever imposed on the power sector,” and too big, costly and consequential for the court not to act immediately. Roberts ignored the fossil fuel industry receipt of $35 billion annually in federal subsidies.
