I just spent the last few months directing this little-known musical, and it was a joy watching the cast become their characters, and then watching the audiences react to the hilarity on stage. We sold out most of the performances, mostly based on word-of-mouth recommendations. Truly satisifying.

You would have been amused watching me try to walk people through the process of building a table using just SMO back 15 years ago. I did it once, and never again. That said, I still use pure SMO on many occasions to this day.

While I haven't yet seen the new Wicked Movie, it seems to me that those complaining about its length, and splitting it into two parts, haven't read the original book on which the musical was based. There is SO much that wasn't put into the stage musical, and I hope the movie(s) cover some of that.

Seriously, get checked. It's worth your life.

In February 2022 I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, with a PSA count of 5.9. In June 2022 I completed the radiation treatments to treat the cancer, and have been seeing the urologist regularly since to ensure their success. Today I had another blood test to check, and it keeps getting better.

An article I read indicated that the stolen data was all on a series of Snowflake servers used by Ticketmaster. Makes me really glad my client elected not to move to Snowflake a couple years ago when they were being wined/dined by them. The Snowflake rep was really p.o.'d when they finally said no.

Found in the release notes for 20.1 as a known issue: "Use SSMS 19.3 to create or modify SSIS job steps."

SSMS 20.1, problem is when I have an Agent job which executes SSIS packages. If I bring up the step details, and click OK, it tells me the connection isn't trusted. There's no connection string in the execute package dialog, so how do I set them to trusted? #sqlhelp

Check out Steve Stedman's site: https://stevestedman.com/

He's the guy who did the data corruption challenge a number of years back, and a lot of us learned a lot more about it through his lessons.

Sorry I can't be there to support you, Eugene. (I'm in rehearsals for my first community theatre show in 12 years.) The session will be great, though!

Gonna try something I haven't done in 12 years - audition for a show. I've never seen the show, but I like the music, and I like the director. I'm a little nervous. Wish me luck!

Before I got into databases, I worked with communication protocols to connect cash register systems to computer systems for sales data. (Pre-internet.) The response to any message was either ACK, if it was good, or NAK, if it failed the check. I've responded to many email messages with ACK.

He's really amazing to work with, and he talks about Vienna and Linz quite often, especially when we were preparing the Schubert! He would sing segments to us to demonstrate what he was looking for, and you could see him reliving his childhood moments when doing so.

This is the first (non-Christmas) recording with this amazing group that I've been part of since I joined 6 years ago. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did performing it with them, both here and in New York City!

To date, I've never seen a soccer game in its entirety. This will change on Saturday, when my 7yo grandson starts playing competition soccer. No better reason to break my streak.
