BLT with avocado. Bacon crispy but not burned, good tomato, iceberg lettuce is fine. Avocado nice and fresh obviously. Stone-ground mustard and good mayo. Sourdough bread is my favorite, toasted is a nice bonus.

The Iran Mess began literal days before I bought a new car so I literally just struck anything that wasn't an EV from consideration. Did I pay more than I wanted for the car? Sure. Will it pay for itself in the long run? Almost certainly.

Basically all of the people he's picturing when he gives this lecture are people who will tell you they gritted their teeth and voted for Harris even though they thought she was, best case scenario, just kicking the fascism can down to the next election.

The thing is that when you account for intent, so did most of the people he's actually yelling at. The Dem narrative is that most people who didn't vote are leftists who thought that not voting for Harris would "teach Dems a lesson" of some sort.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one banging on about this. Not only is it a bad strategy, it actually gets weaker the worse your opponent is as you promise less and less by implication.

Speedrun strat: your own mother is so unsexy it causes an underflow error that maxes horniness. This is known as the Freudian Skip.

Found some unspent Christmas money so I spent it irresponsibly at Powell's. My to-read list swells.

Arthur. Pre-Disney Doug has more fight in him than post-Disney but ultimately neither form can hold his own in a real contest.

At this point I just assume anyone with right-wing political beliefs is a pedophile. Saves time, usually right.

Rose Quartz is extra wild because you see her character development in reverse -- she starts the show as the perfected Good Mom and then you slowly learn how she was a Bad Mom first and learned to be a Good Mom. If anyome was going to pull this off it was Rose Quartz.

The degradation of society:
1. Celebrating the k!lling of a CEO
2. Cheering on warehouse arsons
3. Making heroes out of people who attempt political violence
You can be outraged at the system and still not glorify violence. These aren't wins. This is a society losing its moral compass.
[Coming from a liberal btw]

Bro misunderstands. This is not the degredation of society.

These are the *results.* When the rich and powerful refuse to be restrained by our laws, they violate the social contract and leave people desperate and with no legal recourse.

They have fucked around, and are finding out.

Even that's questionable bwcause PAX also tries to distance itself from them personally, they are also weird reactionaries.

This is Sadie. She was finally reunited with her human, astronaut Christina Koch, after her mom’s voyage around the moon took her the furthest any human has ever been from their dog. She can't wait to hear all about the universe. 14/10 (IG: astro_christina)

Other day a guy tried that old line about how even our poorest know unimaginable wealth compared to the dirt farmers of old, like it was a gratitude problem. Buddy if they knew what it did to us to get that "wealth" he'd go back to the dirt farm.

A truly staggering number of people are now just saying "if racism is wrong, I don't want to be right. But also how dare you call me racist."

Very truly I think the big betrayal is I expected to have grown out of my ADHD and a couple other disorders like I was told I would and anything more concrete was downstream of that.

I'm already there under duress and looking for a way out. Also, anyone likely to put me, personally, on a hit list like that is certainly one of the people your premise assumes the list was intended to eliminate. The bullying types at my high school were like that.

When I think back to when I tried to read the comics it turns out I've memory holed all the details and all I'm left with is "Christ this is dull." Wasn't even an interesting diatribe.
