I’m thrilled to announce that Trex is a Sunshine State Young Reader Award nominee for 2025-26! ☀️
What I love most about state lists is that they’re selected directly by teachers, librarians, and students, and this one is particularly special coming from my home state. What a tremendous honor! 🥰
Two of my favorites in the same place!! Love to see it, but it’s unfair that I wasn’t there too.
It starts a little slow but once it picks up it’s soooooo good. It’s nerdy and beautiful.
Shout out to @christynewrites.bsky.social and her new book The Curse of the Dead Man's Diamond. My daughter and I loved this! So fun and spooky and unpredictable. And great for lovers of classical music, too. #kidlit #middlegrade
Thank you! 😊

First of all, thank you! 🥰 They make great re-gifts! 😊
Congrats on your upcoming book! This was my merch for my first book, which includes the usual (bookmarks, stickers). But my favorite were the prologues I wrote and sewed as a pre-order incentive… took forever but they were popular
and last thing, if they have a favorite author, you can typically find signed copies of their books if you check their website/socials (that’s not merch but my 10yo loves signed/personalized items)
I also have a custom character plush that my husband commissioned from an etsy seller and it’s my favorite thing ever
[cracks knuckles] outofprint.com is a great starting point. t-shirts proclaiming book nerdishness, cozy socks, and mugs are perennial favorites. there’s also a ton of book merch on etsy, especially if you know what specific book and characters they’re into
This gorgeous annotated edition of Bel Canto arrived today! 🤩 Now I know how I’ll be avoiding people over the holidays
