Been playing Pokemon ZA for the first time now that I have a switch 2 while I wait for my copy of pokopia to come in. Completed a nuzzlock of leaf green. Living my best life
For example I don't get paid this week but I get paid next week and that is not for the work that has been done this week or last week but 2 weeks ago during that pay period. Kind of needlessly complicated
Most employers pay on a revolving pay schedule. So if you worked 12 hours this last week you won't be seeing it until next week. More than likely that is if they are paying weekly. Bi-weekly it could be another 2 weeks

I had a similar story with my own dead name, and while trying to name a new Sona (my Umbreon which has coincidentally became my primary Sona) I found Dakota in a list of gender neutral names and it resonated with me on a level my given name never did, so I named my Sona that and eventually myself
