There are hardly even services for people who are on the NDIS! Call any health professional and ask about their waiting list…

“We’re helping too many people with disabilities” is a hell of a line from a Labor government
Absolutely. Many people may not seem to have “profound” disabilities specifically because they’re getting support! It’s like telling someone they don’t need a prosthetic leg because you’ve seen them walk.
Warnings are always calibrated to the reckless, but safe riders already ride like this, and reckless riders don’t care about a slogan on a sign 🤷🏼♀️
It also really highlights the biggest flaw in the system - it’s providing money for services but not providing any services - so of course private sector businesses are springing up to meet the need, and of course some of them are dodgy
I know there are shonky disability services out there. I know there are people who rort the system (as in any system). But the way we talk about registered/unregistered is misleading.
The conversation about “unregistered” providers is a bit flawed. Just because a provider is not registered with the NDIS doesn’t mean that they’re not registered anywhere - your OT, speechie, physio, etc are all registered professionals.
Maybe a harpsichord? Do they get regular play these days?
I’m 42 and people often say how young I look, but I think people just don’t know what 42 looks like.
That’s hideous!
My cat LOVES foil balls. We have so many all over our house and there is usually about 5 under our fridge at any given moment. They do need replacing periodically if the foil starts coming off, but at least getting another one is cheap!
No, you guys, really - look at my makeup
Owning cats will make it look like you don’t clean up after yourself.
Why has there been an envelope in the middle of the living room floor for the past two weeks, you ask?
Because it’s his favorite envelope, that’s why

I know we all hate the internet and social media now, but watching so may over-40s makeup tutorials on Instagram has really paid off for me
This would’ve been a great place to raise a family, but instead a wealthy couple will collect egregious amounts of passive income from bachelorette parties. Reference #32487

It’s a good question, let’s clear the air:
1) Disco is awesome, like 25 all-time classic tracks in a 4 year span,
2) Disco was hated because it was queer, brown, and black,
3) Disco was hated because it paired women and men in a different power dynamic.
4) “Disco Sucks” was a “ MAGA” test run.
‘Birthday Cake Lives Too Far Away’ is a bit of a mouthful, not so catchy. Sounds like a children’s book tbh

Who could possibly have foreseen that the biased people who created these bots have created a product full of biases!
As a nation, we have decided that a teenager cannot navigate a social media algorithm, but a 10-year-old can navigate a courtroom. For Australia's 2025 UN youth representative Satara Uthayakumaran, the contradiction is impossible to ignore.

One of my cats loves to escape and if the other sees him out the window, he will immediately run to us meowing so we can bring the escapee home
Kaia Kraml: They were also carrying out a carpet or some sort of rug and also throwing it in the back of the truck ... So we were watching the scene and I turned to Chad and I was like ... "What is going on?" And Chad looked at me and he said, "Kaia, I think they finally killed him." Peter Van Sant: And did - the two of you ever think we should share what we've witnessed with the police? Kaia Kraml: Absolutely not. Chad Kraml: No. As a matter of fact -
Peter Van Sant: Because - Kaia Kraml: He was horrible. And soon after that night, they say Connie and Austin seemed completely different. Kaia Kraml: It was good. It was fun to see them actually happy
