yeah.. metal slug also a top tier series so i feel that. happy the classics are so readily available at least

KOF is the reason I like fighting games and has a lot of my fave character designs, and Metal Slug has my favorite sprite work of any series so its always painful hearin about the modern state of SNK

Yeah i dont know the exact dates, but I'm somewhat aware of the history.

I used to be a big mark for their games, KOF was my favorite fighter til it got tied to a war criminal and I couldnt anymore.

SNK Playmore so yeah technically different, but I assumed the dev teams consisted of many of the same people. May be wrong though.

Either way, good games in a pre MBS dirtying the company world.

2002 UM and KOF XIII were both peak imo so I wouldnt go that far back personally. But def a corpse now
