On top of reasons of role deconstruction and bodily autonomy, this is one reason why it's so important to many people in power to eradicate trans folk.
If you're secure with yourself, feeling good BEING yourself, they can't tell you you're broken and then sell you a "fix"

Putting aside Sam Altman just continuing to emit huge lies constantly, this is an amazing example of what I mean when I talk about how GenAI is replacing *extremely low energy* digital tasks with *WAY WAY HIGHER ENERGY* replacements that *do not even work*
Why TF is anyone using ChatGPT as a timer!
“Maybe we could introduce a character in the Absolute Universe BEFORE we meet them in the main universe?” they said.
“Okay,” I said.

Look at this detailed analysis of Anthropic's leaked "100% generated by Claude" code, just pigshit awful absolutely unmaintainable garbage
The Spectre LOOMS! a starry night background... (this whole page took an insane 6 hours to colour, which is why I don't colour myself much)
got to do a very fun one pager for the MAD about DC comic, written by Al Ewing. Since the lettering (which was brilliant! but there's a very enjoyable amount of it) covered up this fellah's right hand, here's the top panel sans lettering... all the funny stuff is in the dialogue though so buy it!
The bedrock belief of the supremacist spirit is that life must be earned, and those who fail to earn it deserve to suffer and die.
The Mortal Thor #8, cover by Alex Ross. A Viking funeral among the stars. Such a devastating cover, when you find out what it’s about.
The Mortal Thor #8, by Al Ewing and Juann Cabal. The Enchantress accepts receipt of a murder weapon crafted by Athena. Yes, Athena! Rarely much of a player outside of Hercules stories. Interesting twist in an issue of Interesting twists.
The Mortal Thor #8, by Al Ewing and Juann Cabal. Magni embarks on a mission to bring about peace in two kingdoms, with a novel fairy tale solution.
The Mortal Thor #8, by Al Ewing and Juann Cabal. Magni does a bit anime finishing move against a giant fire troll. I think it’s a fire troll. Don’t ask me. Chad knows. Ask Chad.
I gasped like a rube at the last twist this issue, even though in hindsight it was all set up absolutely brilliantly. a gem of a single issue, truly, subtle and savage in equal measure. when you finish the story and flip back to the cover and realize Ross drew the last beat - hits like a mule.
Me, about to head out the door, Rasputinesque - one of my better hair days, though.
The Old Man’s back again
With my self-promotion hat briefly on:
Friends and co-workers who’ve been picking it up, what do you love about MORTAL THOR?
My shop is tessfowlerart.bigcartel.com
My ko-fi is ko-fi.com/tessfowler
If we make ten sales before Sunday night, we have rent. Late again, so late fees attached. But ten sales would bring us to safety for another few weeks. Thank you so so so much!!
Wishing love and strength to all those who loved him.
I’m remembering a dozen times his art made me smile. It was always really fresh and fun and alive and everyone was beautiful. Jacopo always seemed to know without being told what I was going for, and he always took it the extra mile.
I hope he had as much fun on our books as I did.
God. This is awful, awful news. Just fucking heartbreaking.

We have a few days to accomplish this. Trying to stay housed at least through both of our surgeries. My consultation is this month. We're still waiting to see ortho for his hand. Ko-fi is in the bio alongside the shop. Thank you!!!!
Sal Buscema was, for me, the best Spider Man artist ever. RIP to a truly underrated great. The cleanest line, the most dynamic figure work and character design, the best layouts and backgrounds, and the extraordinary consistency, month after month.
Posting a favorite Sal cover. RIP.
Panel from Spectacular Spider-Man (#197 I think?), art by Sal Buscema.
Just hearing we've lost Sal Buscema, an absolute giant of comics and one of the true greats. His long run on Spectacular Spider-Man is as good as mainstream comics get. RIP to a genuine master.
R.I.P. Sal Buscema. Decade in & out, he was a storyteller of such remarkable quality that I’ve yet to hear anything but the fullest measure of praise for his work from his collaborators. Me, I discovered his work in 1970’s Avengers #72. I absolutely fell in love with it. It helped make a fan of me.
Oh man. This one hurts. Thread incoming.
My favorite Marvel character will always be the Hulk. And if you had to ask me, gun to head, who the definitive Hulk artist is? My answer will always, ALWAYS be Sal.
The ape-like, perpetually howling green skinned monster is the Hulk I see in my head.
If you needed even more convincing, how about praise for SYTI from the legendary @gwillow.me @alexdecampi.bsky.social and @al-ewing.bsky.social!!
Abolish "A.i." from your life and your business.
Make sure to do this, folks - it's not very long and, most importantly, fuck AI
It's so quaint how in the 90s we worried that kids were gonna get fucked up by tamagotchis and now they're just giving every kid a free robot that generates child porn and tells you how to commit suicide
This isn’t a claw hammer, it’s a kneecap amplifier tool
Heron Man
My New Year’s resolution is to be even more of a hater to “A.I.”
A soul-murdering scam to create a generation of dead-inside drones - if you use it on the reg you’re a clown at best and if you promote it you’re lower than the shit on Satan’s hoof, sorry I don’t make the rules etc.
