I bought 'The Future of Wales' by @rhysthomas.bsky.social from Nickleby Books in Llantwit Major this afternoon. I've just devoured it in one sitting! What a superb analysis of where the country is now, and where it could go if the political and economic winds blow in the right direction. Da iawn!
Easy access to work from Raymond Carver, Tim O’Brien, Nora Ephron, James Baldwin, Hemingway, Tom Wolfe et al. — basically feels like it was made for me. And you get to look through the mag proper, all those old weird beautiful ads
