Yes, although he is still 20 and hasn't been tried much as an inverted winger, he could do being a pacy option with more experience of top flight football, who can play on the left wing.
He'd come on a cheap too, allowing for an "expensive" right wing buy.
Consider giving this a read and also share it with others. Cheers!!
With #LFC keeping an eye on him, it felt like the right time to look at Bazoumana Touré with data to understand his game.
A left-footed winger playing on the left, who thrives on chance creation, speed, holding width, work rate off the ball, etc.

Yep. With most possibly under a new manager, would've liked him to have a full pre season.
He needs a summer pre-season, which he wont get now that Sweden have qualified, its up to him to get started asap
Yep, assuming Chelsea remain bad since their fixtures are as tough, LFC would need 4 wins from 7 PL games. Basically, win the home games (including the Chelsea one), and maybe sneak a draw away, and its enough for 5th. Isak Will help.
Exactly. No pt giving energy for a potential "one off" when you know you will most probably get outplayed in the next rd. League form has to improve.
Objectively looking, Saturday is a more important game than next Tuesday. This team has fallen very low, and the new manager could do with the club having funds to make 3-4 major signings in the summer. For that, we cannot miss out on UCL football for next season. #LFC

It's just two different styles. UCL favours teams that are technically good & offers more space, hence games are watchable.
PL games have become physical-duel obsessed, & plenty of good low-blocks, LFC are technically good, but lack one-v-one wingers + physicality.
Discussed in the article why.
Expected Threat**
A data deep dive on #LFC's contrasting performance levels in league & UCL this season so far:
- Basic nos painting a picture
- Better counter-pressing in UCL
- Ball losses in certain zones exposing them in PL
- xT threat areas spread out in UCL.

Observational analysis: What does Liverpool’s ideal No. 10 look like?

#LFC's fixtures for the remainder of the season after an emphatic last-16 win over Galatasaray in the Champions League.
The first five games after the international break will tell us a lot about what May could look like for the team. Still a lot to play for!!
Cheers Matt.
Probably the right time to look at #LFC’s on/off-ball numbers across different periods of their PL games:
- Ball losses highest in 76–90+ mins
- Duel win rates drop in that period
- Games open up statistically in the final 20 mins
All that & more.

Igor Thiago excellent first full season at Brentford. He has already 20+ goals in all comps with a chance to touch 30 by May.
He has got 18 PL goals from 15.62 xG. He has added 1.17 goals with shooting (xGOT - xG).
Numbers are sustainable in an uncomplicated #Brentford system.
Updated #LFC fixture list with timings following a dreadful FA Cup Quarter-final draw for the Reds.
The potential run of games involving City away, PSG/Chelsea two-legged tie, which is sandwiched by a home game to Fulham & book-ended by the derby, is not ideal just after the international break.
Analysing I. Konaté's season with data:
- he is still one of the best in PL
- he has made in-season improvements in passing, cutting down on errors & defence
- he has made overall improvements this season barring one metrics
All that & more.

Yep he has had a mare. But sacking a title winning manager mid-season in the following year post a tumultuous summer never sat comfortable with me. I also think change would be required, but in the summer. Till then, let's see if he warrants to stay beyond.
