Actually more common than you’d think!

Especially in emulators and VC versions, where there’s little reason to actually save and quit the game through Dad, the 2-hour trigger often goes off during the ending cutscenes and credits, forcing it here.

Happens to me basically every playthrough now haha

We actually figured it out this morning lol

Basically:
If you trigger the cutscene when the door appears normal, no animation.
If you trigger it when the door appears “bent,” the animation plays.
