I spent an hour scouring internal network statistics in Grafana and Solarwinds related to outbound traffic only to arrive at the conclusion that GitHub themselves had an outage - I was so mad.

I was thoroughly surprised how uneventful it was - RE had to be online all day for readiness in case alerts started firing - actually had time to start and finish a user story!

Feel better - I had it last month but it was less intense than previous times in the past.

This go around I had full body muscle aches but no loss of taste.

I’m remaining cautiously optimistic. 😬

It’s exciting to see so many of the dev figures I followed from bird platform are now here (like yourself) thanks to the recent surge.

I used to proudly say I stayed up to date with our profession via bird - but that changed for some reason.

Ripping one of my posts from 2023 from bird platform so I don’t look like a bot with no posts following a bunch of people.

Must have skill is ability to seek answers independently given documentation (including google) before asking for help.

Important rule to follow is time boxing the search if you can’t find answers.

Then reach out for help internally clearly stating the problem trying to solve.

Great session this morning with @hannahcorbinnyc on @onepeloton

I started seeing their exercises pop up on the stretch section and bought cheap foam roller to give it a try.

Highly recommend as instructions were helpful and clear.

Thanks so much Hannah! 😃

New Benchmark with @Susie__Chan on @onepeloton.

That class was really hard!

But it DID set a new record for me so I can't really complain. 😂

Highly recommend this episode by @gerhardlazu of @changelog where he "interviews" Steve Jobs through the decades of the many recordings before his death.

I found it very insightful and focused around what we do in development from a people perspective.

Six weeks ago training began.

I went from only doing 2 minutes non-stop to 15-20 minutes today.

I want to thank @erinkbaileyy and @Runkeeper development staff for the work put into this program.

It has truly changed my life and I recommend it for anyone looking to get started.
