What I'd like to see from any takeover of such a vile company is a series which goes into the claims of the former company and debunks them. A takeover like this has the potential to do some good next to all the comedy and that would be a great thing to see.

We should tear down and replace the Bank of America building in San Francisco just because Trump currently owns 30% of it. (Also the plaza sucks.)
Someday, with luck and hard work, she will have a name too.
He could maybe avoid some of this - or make the responses more inarguably irrational - it he'd say things like "we're going to tax 2nd homes worth $5 million+, often owned by non-residents, to fund pothole repairs" instead of "WE'RE GOING TO TAX THE RICH (A NEBULOUS CLASS WHOSE EXISTENCE WE SCORN)!"
The fact that Mamdani just seems like a cheerful normal guy who's policies are things like "we're going to tax second homes to fund pothole repairs" or whatever and yet this generates panicked responses like "This is basically Stalin's great purge turned up to eleven" is... telling. It tells things.
Not going well for NYT they can’t stand that Zohran is reshaping AMERICAN POLITICS and it isn’t how they say it should be
Maybe the Times can move out of the past demented political vacuum they live in and actually talk to progressives
How about some editorials explaining how New Yorkers love him
Keeping it clean and simple today. Neutrals are always a good idea. 🤍✨

Sure. But don't forget last year's Polish presidential election.
We should be glad whenever the forces of democracy defeat fascism. But winning a battle is not winning the war. Democrats didn't learn this lesson in 2020. We can't afford to forget it now.
Protecting the right to vote is the foundation of our democracy. Democratic leaders are sounding the alarm at the NAN Convention: we must stand against efforts to undermine our voice.

Democracy only works when every voice is heard. It’s time to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and protect the ballot for all.

easily one of the funniest guys america has had in decades
I went out for a stroll today, and also took the opportunity to see the surrounding scenery and discover new things.
Chicken and Rice Noodle Lunch😋
Originally, the chicken breast should be shredded by hand, but I chopped it into smaller pieces with a knife for convenience. I stir-fried it with some cabbage, oyster sauce, and pepper. Strawberries, blueberries, unsweetened yogurt with 20g of protein, chia seed milk
Transparency is non-negotiable. Democrats are demanding a full investigation into the recent Epstein file disclosures. No one is above the law, and the public deserves the truth.

San Francisco always exudes an air of mystery, with its misty streets and rolling hills concealing unique little shops that pique curiosity and inspire longing. Every exploration is a journey to uncover new secrets, full of surprises and charm.
The GOP's refusal to pass the Senate-approved DHS funding bill is putting our national security and airport operations at risk. House Democrats are standing ready to vote and keep the government running.

From Turkish airspace violations to regional spillover, Trump’s "America Alone" policy has left us without the coalition we need to stabilize the Middle East. He’s alienating the very allies we need most.

Unconstitutional wars have no place in a democracy. Senate Democrats are pushing for a War Powers vote because no president—especially not Trump—should have a blank check for military adventurism.

Glad this was vetoed. We agree this bill injected politics into a function of government that should remain nonpartisan. Governor Katie Hobbs vetoed SB1439, which would have created a special “Turning Point” license plate and directed $17 of the $25 fee to Turning Point USA.
Reverend Jesse Jackson called on each of us to be heralds of change, to be messengers of hope; to step forward and say “Send me” wherever we have a chance to make an impact.
How fortunate we were that Jesse Jackson answered that call. What a great debt we owe to him.
Iran’s people were facing a horrible shortage of water before the war began. If we are destroying desalination plants and setting fire to Teheran we are committing unfathomable crimes.
War in the Middle East means skyrocketing energy prices and global instability. We should be investing in the American middle class, not a trillion-dollar conflict.

The American public deserves the truth about the risks of escalation. We need facts and strategic clarity, not cherry-picked intelligence🔍🛡️
Just a random reminder that over 50 members of Congress collectively own millions of dollars in defense contractor stocks.
They stand to personally profit from wars that enrich these contractors.
Make no mistake, this is legalized corruption.
Watch how they vote this week.
SOTU was a masterclass in gaslighting. As Abigail Spanberger highlighted in the Democratic response, while the GOP brags about the stock market, workers are facing mass layoffs and rising rents. We need real solutions, not just more tax cuts for billionaires📺 #SOTU2026 #TruthMatters
All y'all going to jail
