Drama. Most of our staff team are traumatized after the first one. We don't want a second one.
We never were, and have no real intention to run for any sort of profit. Donations and community ads help, but like, admins regularly have to pay out of pocket for incidentals and stuff... never really stopped us, we just want to bring pony for everyone to see and search.
First time I'm hearing that we're profitable...
We're a diverse group of over 30 individuals, and none of us are pro-nazi or in favor of any sort of political extremism. Our inability to decide comes from the fact that even the tiniest decision has great consequences, as the site is visited by millions on a monthly basis. We're not some DA group.
It's not like we've not had extensive discussions about it, in fact, we still are talking about it. Not much we can say to the public without setting a lot of things on fire as of right now, though. Hence, we're stuck with the current policy, for now.
How much do you know about the last 5 years of Derpibooru moderation? Do you know which images we deleted? Do you know which ones were even reported? Your anger is understandable, but I would caution to say that it might be misinformed.

The rules clearly state that any form of discrimination is prohibited. This includes racism, and images which advocate for racism (along with gender, religion, etc).
The "TOS" as it is right now definitely isn't designed to "better serve nazi imagery". You might be remembering the "flip flopping" which occurred at one point during ~The Drama~, but this is not reflective of the final policy and enforcement.
Again, if you'd like to report something, then report something on-site, and our staff team will look into it. This Bluesky account is literally just an art repost + site announcements account. And "I got bored so I answered some questions" account. And "I felt like posting stuff" acount.
Due to the amount of content posted to our site we can't take proactive action against every single piece of content (except spam or obvious illegal stuff). Someone reports it - we deal with it. If you find something rule breaking, report it, we look into all reports we receive.
